Star Sharpened Cestus from contested mayong

There isnt one. The Star Sharpened Cestus has the same graphic as the Fists of pain from Halls of seeing. One is from one of the hardest mobs in game (i use the term hard losely) the other some mob that pickup raids can kill, and is probably one the most common fabled dw for brawlers in game with the the Fists of bashing.</p><p> Heres the pic of cestus with another weapon to show again that its equiped and its the same graphic</p><p><a href="http://imageshack.us" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://img518.imageshack....pg" border="0"></a></p><p>Might seem petty but contested gear should look as good as it is and not share graphic loot, espicially with really common loot from elsewhere. They should have unique graphics.</p>

<p>It totally needs a revamp in graphics, especially since I want my gnome to look [Removed for Content] when he can lay his hands on the next on we get.</p><p>Jokes aside, the graphic on this one truly deseerves something special and not some generic copy paste graphic from a lame DW out of KoS, this is EoF , the mobs are harder especially the one this drops from and it's the longest spawn of them all, so it truly deserves it own unique design. </p>

I'm completely with you on this one.  In general, I think we need some attention to our weapon graphics.  I'm quite sick of the "brass knuckles" and all the different variations on them.  I'd love to see some fabled fighting batons or hammers or ANYTHING that looks cool.  There is a treasured green glowing hammer in LP that looks really cool, so I know that it CAN be done.  I’ve already stated that if our upcoming “epic” weapon is brass knuckles or any trashy graphic like that I WILL be quitting eq2 for Warhammer.  C’mon SOE, give us some graphic love.

<p>I agree with your statement about the same old "brass knuckles", but im more on about the fact the weapon that drops of one of the hardest encouters in game, a contested at that has the same affect as anything in game, let alone another dw that can be got by anyone from a simple pick-up raid zone. Seriously SOE jump on a few servers and search for fists of pain on the broker see how many come up PER server.</p><p> Each contested drop should have its own unique appearence. They will only be held by a select few throught eq2 and them people deserve it to stand out from the crowd. </p><p>It's lame that its jus another copy and paste of code.</p>
