SOE give to us more round shields for plate users lvl 55-70

Hi guys, how you doing? I have a problem here. I love it. but now, i think i will need use tower shield until lvl 67 when i can try go to labs and find one like that from Doomright Vakrizt. I think name is Draconic Deflector. PS I spend 3 months in raids in there all days for have one with my main. Right now, im using tower shield from Grizzle Fazzel's. Have a nice stats. But why dont have one round for we tanks that dont like kite and tower pick up? Anyway SOE, can you think in put more round sheilds for tanks in next updates? Its not cool have only one option for round shileds and that shield comes from a raid. PS: Anyone know a shield like that, quest, drop(not labs raid too hard find/win /ran 100) for I use? Looks like game is a little poor in shield design in this range lvl. Its all tower tower. Take care all. ty again

The Draconic defector was a Kit Shield (or tower, i don't remeber 100%). Also the SBS was changable into a Kite shield, but maintained the RoundShield GFX! Round shields are usually usable also by scouts and they have a much lower Shield factor then Kite or Tower shields!  I think it goes Buckler - Round - Kite - Tower  ... so as a tank you would want to look for a shield with the highest shield factor normally, so Tower unless a Kite would blow the tower away by stats ... So tbh, I don't know why you would wont to sacrifice Shield factors to go with a round shield just for the looks ... and I think that is the reason why we haven't seen any other round shields since DoF actually! If it is more an gfx issue, then well you may have some hard times to convince the designers & rpg community why Tower Shields should lool like round shiedls ... Maybe you could try and post something in Look & Feel  about the art design ...

You wrong man. I have Draconic defector with my main. Look for Ujio in eq2players. Draconic defector is ROUND shield. Looks the same shield from HQ in zek. He's just a little more red in color. and is the best shield in game in my opnion. anyway, i just wanna have a option to use something with that design (legendary maybe) before have one from labs. Its hard win that. With my main i look that for 4 months. 4 MOUNTHS! (i up another char to lvl 70 in 3 months) anyway, i aggre with you. is just like Look & feel stuff.
