We know its possible. You have shown us this, with the inclusion of Transmuting and Tinkering. You can change from one to the other and start over from skill 1.

Could ya please let us change our primary tradeskill? It would sure make a lot of us very very happy

Thank you!

I agree this would be a great addition to EQ2.

Adding my name to the petition. I've always wanted my main to be a carpenter... ever since I made the choice to go with something else. A simple reset to skill 1 would be wonderful by me.

I wish they would allow us to change both our crafting and adventure class. As long as it was reset to level one (or two, for tradeskills I guess) each time, what would the harm be? That way monks who dislike being carpenters could switch, and carpenters who dislike being monks could switch - and neither would have to lose the hard work they wanted to keep.

I like the idea of being able to change your tradeskill selection....please add my name into the petition. But changing the adventure class....sounds like a huge headache....unless, maybe you could change just within the main class, ie. from a conjurer to a wizard....or lets say paladin to berzerker....then I would see no problem....but I could see lots of headaches switching class completely ie mage to fighter.....all the skills you already have would be of kilter.....<doubles over laughing picturing a former mage trying to fight as a warrior by wiggling her fingers>

The same could be said of tradeskilling... imagine a provisioner trying to make armor, using provisioner knowledge? Or no no, an alchemist going provisioner.. dunno, if they use to make poisions really well.. I'm not sure I'd want to try their food! In either case, if they're going right back down to level one, they'd have to relearn everything. That's kinda the point.

I have two toons, both sages, and I would LOVE to change one of them to a woodworker as opposed to having to roll a completely new toon.

Please let us change tradeskills. Pretty please?

Adventure and tradeskill changes that start over at level 1, would be great! I have a 70 Alchemist with a 25 Swashy, and really don't want to level the swashy. If I could restart him at level 1 for some other class, that would be great.
