I can't find anything about this on the forums. Or in known bugs. But for 3 or 4 weeks now or more this aa has been completely broken.

I used to be able to cast this on myself, my primary pet, my construct, group members, group's pets, just about anything that even looked like it was in my group lol. Now it will not work on anyone or anything. I have been tryingi on normal, heroic, and epic mobs, myself, pets, group, grey cons, yellow cons. Doesn't matter. It doesn't do anything at all now. No split personality pet, no buff on my target, no buff on target's target, nothing. The icon greys out as if something happened. But it refreshes faster than it should. No resist messages or any messages.

Anyone know what's up with this?

Thx.

Hierophant Krystae Lunalupus, Hero of Maj'Dul

70 Wood Elf Warden / 90 AA

Empathic Mystyriae Rorrim, Champion of Drednever

70 Fae Illusionist / 91 AA

<Essayons> Befallen Server

when i had this aa a few months back it did the same thing to me like 3/4 of the time. Some times i would see the split pop up, and a buff go up.... but a majority of the time i got only a greyed out icon with a recast time as if it landed and nothing else. So i respeced dagger + wis -charm.

I'm having the same problem. Spell does NOTHING, and I worked my aa the last two weeks to get it. Very annoying. Looking for info about it....

Just a quick note that SOE did fix this issue finally a few weeks ago. But after seeing what Split Personality can (or rather can't) do, I quickly respec'd away from it. For an end AA spell, it's pretty lame. You SHOULD be able to give someone a duplicate of themselves for 15 seconds...to control any way they want (like a pet) and it should be comparable to their skill / level.

What actually happens is there is a 15-second dumb-fire pet that happens to look like them, is uncontrollable and goes straight for their target at cast time, and mostly just stands there and occasionally takes a swipe at the mob. For example, we tested a lvl 70 berserker duplicate on a lvl 14 gnoll. Before the 15 seconds was up, it managed to get the gnoll to about 50% health.

Can you get any more pathetic than that? The ONLY redeeming value for this spell is as a pull pet...which I haven't tested so for all I know there is a limit on that, too.

My advice...go for Time Compression and Illusory Arm. At least you'll feel useful.

It is to just get some agro then when it vanishes all the agro goes to the illusioned target. It was a variation of illusory allies which you never were able to control in the first place. Dont know how you thought it was controlable /shrug. But yah IA and TC > all.
