<p>Croudcontrol-my-[Removed for Content] !!!</p><p> THe Groupmezz is totally ruined imo. If i mezz an encounter and wants to do it again to be sure it wont ware off, the new mezz bounds off... Yes i know that many AE- spell dont affect mezzed objects....but COME ON....its our JOB to keep them mezzed. Soe cant really meen that we should let the group free just to be able to re-mezz....not even the group-stun hits now. At least it didnt when i was in Unrest the other day. Our job is so useless now. They could atleast fix so that mezz ( group and single ) from either illu. or coercer doesnt bounce off if we wanna re-do it.</p><p> This is just plain stupid !!!</p><p><img src="/smilies/e78feac27fa924c4d0ad6cf5819f3554.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

...what? Nothing has changed with mez. Single or group... Everything works great for me?

Everything works great for me? </blockquote> Depends how long you been around I guess but you used to be able to chain cast group mez without interuption in the mez, at one point they changed it to block aoe so if you recast it blocks itself. I believe that is what the op is speaking of.

We're not useless, but our mezzes damage mitigation is no longer 0. Basically we have to watch the different groups we have mezzed and cast that sucker just AS its wearing off so they only get one hit in before going back to sleep. Took me a while to figure out [Removed for Content] was going with that and when I realized "oh [Removed for Content], its an AoE spell" I changed my tactics. Throw a single mezz at the member of the group you'll have targetted when you cast the group version again (if you're not juggling mutiple groups and have some spare cycles) and that'll mitigate that brief gasp of conciousness the encounter gets even more. Of course, soloing that means we get to try and survive a group stomp several times. Being made out of paper mache draped in a bathrobe... I normally only have to suffer through a single stomping before ghetto porting to a safe spot and paying my mender tax bill.

Explains alot to me. .I just cast group mezz why is this mob still hitting me. You would think no dmg aoe abilities would by pass the ae block on mezz. Like stuns and group debuffs that dont casue dmg. Heck taunts dont break it and makes u wonder about why group taunts dont hit mobs u have mezzed.. Seems retarder to me.

<p>Your timing isn't perfect then maybe. If you mezz a encounter then those who are mezzed are AOE imune that means : ... no Hit's from the most Aoe's from other players ... Imune to Encounter mezz</p><p>If you wanna hold a Encouter Mezzed you can't just blind chain cast the encounter mezz. I start to cast encounter mezz again 1.2 secs before the old one runs out.</p><p>If you cast the encounter mezz before the old one was off you don't mezz the encouter again you only mezz a single target with the encouter mezz.</p><p>And you can Aoe DMG and dot with no prob when you are sure that all others are mezzed. Torment and Sonic boom are never a prob there, just make sure you target the non mezzed mob or in case of sonic boom just no mob.</p>
