So heres what happened...

Guild was raiding EH. we were about to pull the herald of Wuoshi and the MT didnt see Wuoshi pathing near and he moved in to pull the Herald. the whole zone came once he had pulled; wuoshi included. a few people camped out before they died. when we all logged back in and revived, the still formed raid was locked into an encounter, unable to yell it off, unable to invite anyone ect... so basically; camping when you screw up on the encounter there, your raid is screwed.

Sony needs a fix for this problem!

Man that sucks! Did you try to remove each and every member of the raid perty one at a time? Someone had the encounter lock they had to.

well since everyone is in combat you cant kick anyone or drop group... but camping would be an option...

okay, i fixed it but this still needs to be fixed...

what i did was camped to drop raid... log back in and went running all over explored the top area where wuoshi paths and saw a mob come running out of no where, it was non agro. it stopped and then became agro... so it seemed once i got near the "locked encounter" once it rendered... that fixed it and reset the mob.

This happens on the second floor too, my guild accidently pulled gardener once and all the other mobs swarmed us and we were stuck in combat unable to invite / move groups ect. it sucks...

Why don't you just take the wipe and revive?

Same thing happened here also over the weekend on the top floor. Its a joy when someone goes linkdead. The whole raid has to quit out and come back in so we can re-invite people. The fix to this is don't go linkdead I guess. Also, don't wipe cause you'll never be out of combat to rejuvinate your power. The only fix we found was to have everyone quit out and come back in. It really adds to the enjoyment of gameplay with this bug.

I dont think you know. Are you trying to set people up for failure? Maybe your posting this so you can get a server first or something but your totally wrong. If you have a known person with LD problems why would you give them the raid leader spot anyway?

We killed Woushi last night, had several LD's and not 1 problem. We wiped once on gardener and twice on the tree and never had 1 single issue with power or the encounter not reseting. People get ported, charmed or whatever, but NEVER revive till you have a full wipe.

Here's a tip....the less evil toons you have in this zone the better.

NEVER EVER EVER tell your raid to camp and come back!!!! This is false information and by doing so you will find yourself in lfay with a lockout timer.

From what I've seen, the stuck in combat bug has nothing to do with somebody going LD. Randomly when somebody aggros Wuoshi before you clear all the trash, even if everybody dies when the entire floor runs at you, something bugs and forces you to stay in combat. It's incredibly annoying.

K... i found the cause and the fix to this...

the cause: the whole floor comes after you, some of the mobs get stuck in the floor or something. and never reset.

fix: i started sneaking around on the 3rd floor, and [Removed for Content] a mob came sprinting (non agro) like it was chasing somebody then stoppedand became agro. omg it just fixed the bug =) seems when you get into proximity of the bugged mob, it resets it
