Brell, Nixon or the Zekster?

<p>I have reviewed the various gods and am prepared to make my weak commitment (after all, in the end, a bruiser answers only to himself.)  I like Brell, Innoruk and Rallos Zek the most, from what I can see.  I know Brell has a few blessings more suited to tradeskilling (and as a 70 alchemist, this is not a big bonus for me as the stuff I make never fails, and his blessings and miracles are better suited to smiths and jewelers) but his cloak looks rather nice.  Which god did you pursue?  Zek is a nice default, I suppose, but what say you, o bruiser community?</p><p>Redmouser 70 Bruiser, AB</p>

I originally had Innoruuk for roleplay purposes because my bruiser is a dark elf.  However, I finally changed to Rallos Zek because the cloak and miracles/blessings really do support dps better (imho).

<p>I have the Brell cloak on my Swashbuckler. (who is now going with Marr)</p><p>If you want a "defensive" cloak, it sucks. It doesn't proc nearly enough. Believe it or not, the Gnomeland Security cloak is better than the Brell cloak.</p><p> IMO, Zek = win. You can choose between DPS or some nifty saves from him. I personally like Vengeance of Rallos. I was fighting a 68 heroic and getting utterly screwed by the random number generator. I had him down to about 40% when he would have killed me. I used Vengeance, and it took out the rest of his health while I survived.</p>

<p>Collect them all. What i did was choose 1 god burn all his faction on raids and groups etc. then move to the next now i am on my last god (rallos) after trying them all i think rallos is the best. After i am done burning his faction it wont really matter since my guild will be killing avatars and at that point its not like i will have any faction anyway. Rallos is the best not only because he has good blessign/miricles, but the best ones are also the cheapest. I also liked brell and sol ro and inny. </p><p>Until they come out w more evil/neutral gods. Then its back to work. </p>

<p>Zek does offer the best offensive edge and is likely your best choice if you're raiding or just simply not tanking.  As a tanking bruiser, mitigation goes a long way on us, and considering that, I wouldn't go any other god than Brell.  Stature of Serillis is great, like an additional middle stance for 10 minutes on top of your defensive stance in terms of increasing effectiveness of worn armors.  With my gear/jewelry chosen for physical mitigation primarily, I sit at about 50% mitigation normally in defensive stance.  With stature blessing, temp buff with degen, group buffs, I can sit at about 60% mitigation pretty easily.  When things really get rough, the final miracle that gives group heal and massive mit buff to yourself can push you even higher temporarily.  Highest I've seen mine go in an emergency situation is 72% mitigation, where I'm using blessing, miracle, degen mit buff, stun mit buff.  Going Brell makes a huge difference for tanking bruisers, and no other god really compares in that respect.   Since I went Brell, I'm often told by healers that its much easier to keep me alive than most plate tanks.  Its my opinion that unless a plate tank has great avoidance (at least 50%), a Brell bruiser will always be the superior tank vs. single heroic targets.</p><p>I know a lot of bruisers who went Zek, and many just don't use the blessings and miracles all that often.</p><p>Every tanking bruiser I know who went Brell uses the stature blessing at least once every time they adventure.</p><p>Just my two cents.</p>

I have Rallos zek on my bruiser and brig, I am quite happy with it. however I am a little jealous of a guildy who has Brell due to the fact it summons beer <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
