Hey guys i had a quick question for all of you.. i want to start a mystic as a main healer for a 2box operation i want to do. I love the mystic class i think it brings alot to the table. My question is what melee class or for that matter scout/caster would be a good 2boxing team? now i know a tank class would be preferd because Of their mitigation and the fact that they can and will take hits. I just wanted some input and insight into this since i really dont know much about all the classes since i just started.

bruiser or monk, they can tank, and bring DPS. Also their avoidance helps in that they can make your wards last longer. Plus FD can make bad pulls survivable.

Agree on brawlers. Shadowknights are nice too, because the mystic debuffs poison and disease. I also had a lot of fun with a swashy. Its possible to play the swashy with leather armour and a shield. He tanks quite well and has group invis and evac. A more exotic duo is any summoner and mystic. Lots of fun tho

/agree

I've got a 70 conj and 65 mystic duo, planeshift plus bolster makes for a really big pet!

With the new free char exchanges I also transfered my 70 bruiser alt to a new third account, which I think will be even more effective.

I 2-box a Mystic with a Brigand and I am having a blast with it. I also have a Paladin on the same account as my brigand, and 2boxing the paladin with a mystic works too, but I find I like using the brigand more.

IMHO twoboxing with a zerker is very easy to do. I think it's a great combination to work with and I've gotten my two box all the way to 70 with hardly any trouble at all.

I'll toss in another yes for mystic/berserker. I've enjoyed doing that.

I personally feel like I often have to work HARDER healing a monk (but truth be told it could be the monk I deal with most's fault, this particular monk frequently thinks she can't tank xxx because she's a monk and monks are more dps than tank /rolls eyes when it is something I could tank if I could keep agro).

Hab Mystiker mit Raufbold. Durch raufbold AGI Skillung bekommt der Mystiker ein FD von mir und wenns eng wird mache ich FD und kurz danach der Mystiker auch. Paßt eigentlich gut

Try with a zk - their hp regen helps get health back up under the wards, plus you can '2-button' heal + melee attack the mystic easily. I use these to 2 box the PoA dragons... lot of fun! I also use a 70 fury - a bit harder but all mobs die much quicker quicker and the grp invis is a great addition. For awhile i was using the mystic to help lvl my dirge, that was tougher particular when you had adds or multiple mobs to deal with - dirges have no useful PBAOEs.

I two box my mystic and my warlock, brigand, and guardian. But I like two boxing my warlock/mystic the most. Group/single ward the warlock, and unleash hell. Whats nice about the warlock/mystic combo, is once you learn how to control the pace of an encounter, you cant be touched.

Like I said, i ward the warlock with both wards, bolster too if i think i need it. Move the warlock in, body pull the mob, back off to the mystic, and cycle thru the aoes. Occasionally, spamming the wards/heals where required. If im lucky, i can throw in a few debuffs too.

Do i die? yeah sure i do. But i have found that i do not have the dexterity to handle all the stuns and behind the mob moves that scout classes require, and boxing my tank is just well boring. Its safer but takes too long for me to get anywhere meaningful.
