Question on the gods, their pets and altars

Is there a link, or thread, where you can go to view all the gods, at least, the ones you can get that pet and/or altar?  Is the altar separate from the pet?  Like, is there a quest to get the pet, then a different one to get an altar for your god?  And is there a thread detailing how to sacrafice items at the altar?  Finally, in line with my first question, is there a link that says what the benefit (and perhaps detriment) of each god and pet might be?  Thanks!

<p>Do a forum search for "God List" or "diety list" there are tons of threads.</p><p> As for pets and altars, all have a pet and altar i believe.  </p><p>Each diety has a number of quests that can be done depending on your level.  Even a lvl 70 has to start at the lowest quest and work their way up.  Along the line as you complete more and more quests for the diety, you unlock alters, god pets, and a diety cloak.</p><p> there are better alters available from crafters, and i would assume drops, although I'm not too into the whole diety thing to go questing for more alters.</p><p> The better alters give you better "faction" per item sacrificed, and I believe may even reduce the cost of each ability...but don't quote me on the second part there.</p><p>I chose Rallos Zek btw...good bruiser god, good cloak.  Others may have a differing opinion on this choice.  its all up to you.</p><p>And Remember, make fun of all monks you see...they are weak.</p><p>cya!</p>
