Which adornments seem to be more effective....the +67 to crush/slash/pierce or the +7 parry? Thanks in advance.

<p>From a 70 bruiser who plays for fun, doesn't worry about min/maxing skills/stats...</p><p>i'd go Parry.  This of course takes into account nothing but the fact that i'd rather my bruiser say "Can't hit me" than "that didn't hurt"</p><p> avoidance FTW!</p>

just rolled a bruiser, but got some nice stuff on my swash and i would say go for parry, cause if you want solo or tank. you can use the healing adornment for wrist that proc's off parry and i would say it procs more if your parry is higher. apart from that i would say that you dont want to get hit at all <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But atm only L24 so what do i know <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>I went with parry because it gave the largest boost (nearly 2% avoidance) of the two. The mit increase was minimal in the end.</p><p>However, I wouldn't go for the heal proc on parry.. that's there for the non-shield, non-brawler types. Shield users will use the one that procs on blocking (much higher % than parry), and brawlers would use the one that procs on Deflection (40% vs 12%).</p>

In my opinion, +mitigation is better. As a brawler, we already have high avoidance. What we need is mitigation to reduce the damage spike. If you want to tank in high end group encounter such as Nizara or MM Castle, or off tank in high end EoF raid, the more mitigation you have, the less damage spike you get. the difference is obvious with or without enough mitigations. Though, if you are casual, and solo a lot, then +parry might be better. When you are soloing with a bad avoidance roll, you can fd and try it again.
