Spontaneous Fast Forward Syndrome (SFFS)

<p>Okay I have had this issue on EQ2 since I first downloaded it. Ironically it also happens on another SoE game, Planetside. </p><p>Basically, usually after gaming for a while, the game will out of nowhere speed up into FAST mode. Meaning everything skips, I run twice as fast, basically everything that happens around me is as if i am in fast forward mode. It usually goes away after a bit if I stand still in game, but... seriously it's ANNOYING as hell.</p><p>Any thoughts?</p><p>Save me from SFFS!</p>

1 of my friends had this problem w/ his new dual core, I believe - but whether it was an all the time problem or an intermittant 1 he didn't say...  Are you running a dual core by chance?
