Corrupt Files

ok i got this file that sometimes crashes me and stuff but i want to know how to  fix it the file is  C:program filessonyEverquest IIverifylog.txt i ask a couple guildies about it and they dont even have the file.... i tried deteling it removing from folder but nothing is working.... Do i need to reinstall the game or what? Lostlegend

Aww, was hoping that'd do it.  At work now, so can't check my machine's config.  :/ Is there an actual file at 'C:program filessonyEverquest IIverifylog.txt'? Worst case (IE noone else can come up with anything) I'd personally back up all the download packs, uninstall the game, freshly install it (copying the packs back in to drastically reduce download time) and try again.  If it continues, might have to do a fully clean install. Hopefully someone else has some insights so it doesn't come to that.

When you say that file is causing you to crash, what is leading you to say that?

hmmm for some wierd reason  i didntmess with the file and now its working and i am not getting any errors or nothing so thanks y'all for the help
