I have started collecting the EOF legendary set pieces for my bruiser. I currently have the shoulders, arms, and feet. I was a little dissapointed to find the feet and arms having WIS instead of AGI. After equipping the Wu pieces I lost about 50 AGI but gained 100 mit and maybe 175 hp. I also got about 120 to all resists from the WIS plus the resists from the gear itself. I was wearing dragonscale boots and Awakened Scalelord arms. The question I have is the loss of avoidence (.5%) offset by the gain in mit, hp, and resists or am I better off with the old gear?

I don't remember exact numbers but my original avoid was about 11203(69.8%) and new 11112(69.3%). Mit was 2300 and new about 2400. Hp 7200 and new 7400 or so. AGI was about 655 and went to 605.

An even-con monster will hit you once more often in every 200 attacks, on average. I think I would go with the boosts everywhere else over a .5% change in avoidance.

Agility increases base defense. This is a contested roll... meaning it gets worse and worse the higher level, and higher quality (heroic, named, epic, etc) the mob gets. Therefore a loss there isn't that big a deal.

Especially if you get more mit and health from the deal. And resists are always good if you intend to tank.

In the end, you will want to wear at least 6 pieces of this set anyways. Stoneskin proc on melee attack is insanity compared to any loss you might have in any other score. I would very nearly wear 6 pieces of this set over even the fabled raid set... simply because the stoneskin saves my [Removed for Content] more often than anything else.

I have the damage report for stoneskin and wards going into a different chat window, and I frequently see it preventing 1-3k hits constantly. Like 5-10 times a fight depending on Haste and if I use Crane Flock (it seems to proc when attacking multiple targets, but not off double attack).

But yeah, a loss in avoidance isn't that bad if you get all that in return. I'd probably give up 1%+ for the stuff you listed. And you can always make up the Agility elswhere (adornments and hex dolls if you really want it that bad). Personally, I'd get my Stamina up there before Agility... and the glancing splint. +7 parry gives nearly 2% avoidance even after maxed out +parry in the Int line.
