For the last 45 mins or so I have been kicked to a trying to reconnect through servers 1-9 and then repeating itself until it finally says can't connect and i am force to return to the desktop. I am even kicked off vent as well. Once I log back in I am lucky to get 5 mins of play until I get back into that issue again. So what the hell is going on here I was playing fine all day now all the sudden this happens. I have cable internet and the internet is working fine too. I am also on Veneknor

Are you getting kicked off Vent at the same time as EQ2 each time? If so, I'd guess something is hiccuping in your internet connection. If not... hmm... There's nothing odd when trying to patch or surfing websites et all?

If Ventrilo is disconnecting at the same time as Everquest 2, why aren't we assuming that something is wrong with more than just EQ2? More than likely your router needs to be power cycled at that point (turned off and back on). What router do you have?

If Ventrillo is being disconnected at the same time that you are booted out of EverQuest II, then that's a sure sign that your router or modem is resetting. This is also a good sign that you have a router or modem that has a feature called "Stateful Packet Inspection" (SPI). Unfortunately, SPI is incompatible with nearly all MMO-style games and most game consoles (Wii, Xbox, Playstation, etc.). We suggest you contact your router and/or modem's manufacturer to ensure that SPI is deactivated.
Funny I just started having the same problem yesterday, but I don't have problems connecting to anything but sony games.

ummmmm so what if most don't? We could care less since we are here tryin to figure out how we can get connected. So if you can get in good for you.

Being a troll makes you a tool.

It would go along ways towards your statement "we are here tryin to figure out how we can get connected". But please don't post "Troll" posts like "funny...I don't have a connection problem except when trying to play Sony games"...it makes it out to be an issue at Sony's end, when in reality, it's your connection that's messed up. Hope that clarifies my "Troll" statement in response to yours.

mmkay?

Actually it wasn't my connection or my equipment but thanks for playing.
