Looking through the different set bonuses and focuses for the different classes I can't help but wonder if there is going to be any revamp of these sets I mean there are some focuses that are clearly wanted like the assassin one that greatly reduces the decapitate timer. Then there are others that are just not worth it like +30 to rain of arrows for Rangers. Or there are set bonuses that are not worth it, for example : My main is a wizard, and if I get the Insulated sleeves of focus from Clockwork Menace Factory, the bonus on it is Bolt X Now the 7-piece Set bonus is Bolt X. There is no reason I would not just use the Insulated Sleeves of Focus and have one other slot free instead of having the 7-piece bonus. It doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know if there is talk of revamping at these sets since they are hard enough to get to make them wanted by all, or at least a little more useful?

I totally agree with you on these set pieces. I am a warlock and my end result is a complete waste. 7% poison resist on mobs.. WOW... That really makes we want to get all of these pieces. Please Developers make changes to fit the class. How about a change like this : A warlock is AOE class, maybe make all his group encounter aoes increase by 8%. Who thought of 7 pieces to only get help with resistability against a mob.

Yes, the set bonuses across the board are completely unbalanced. One of the best set bonuses in the game is the 6 piece bonus on the ledgendary inquis/templar set. As a swash, the best bonus we get is the 3 piece ledgendary bonus. The 10% double attack from the 7 piece fabled is minimal compared to the 10% poison proc of assassins and 8% melee crit of brigands. The assassin 7 piece is actually twice as powerful as one of the top tier swash EoF abilities. Yeah, that's balanced. 10% double attack is a horrible idea for a set bonus. First off, some swashies are one hand specced and others are dual wield specced. Those that are dual wield get a relatively stronger effect from a 10% double attack bonus. Also, a one handed swash with the 10% bonus will then cap if they group with an illusionist and get illusionary arm, basically making the set bonus completely useless. Not to mention the 3 and 5 piece bonuses on the swash set are also terrible. The ranger bonuses are only slightly less bad, but both are woefull compared to the assassin and brigand sets. Oh, yeah, swashies get +10 ranged too; who thought that up? Summary:

time reduction on Combat arts that are too slow to cast in a raid situation (swathe) is a bad idea.

set bonuses that are 2x as powerful as an end line AA of another class is a bad idea (assassin 7 piece)

bonuses that vary significantly in power depending on AA spec (double attack) is a bad idea.

Melee crit bonus is always welcome.

Bonuses that can be had on one or two other individual items is a bad idea.

Those are just some initial things. These bonuses need to be reworked and rebalanced across the board. If I had the full swash set I would only wear individual pieces that were better than others or swap in for resists. I would also swap in the swash bp before hitting inspiration for the focus. Other than that though there is no reason at all for me to wear my set. In fact, my normal setup will have me wearing the shoulders, bracers, and gloves of my ledgendary set just for the bonus. The focus on the pants isn't even worth it. A less than 10% damage increase to my flurry. The focus on the relic set is a 20% reduction in recast on my flurry...completely lack of thought in this stuff. You can tell some classes got attention and then others were hastily thrown together.
