Hi... i checked the sticky's and stuff but saw nothing about this so I thought I'd just post it up and see what happens.

I have an issue that seems to happen in certain zones, Thundering Steppes being the most common. It started just before the new patch came into play. I would be in a zone and suddenly i'd turn round and a big grey polygon would be stretching right across my screen from a far and distant point that I can't see. It always comes from one direction and looks like it attaches itself to an object in the game world.

I did what any sane person would do and updated my graphics drivers. This has only made the problem more common and I find myself logging in and out to resolve the issue 2 or 3 times a night.

There is also a side issue where little bits of the UI and the target frames will look slightly corrupted as a result of the polygoning.

Please Help!!!

That's a sign of a failing or overheating video card. I suggest running a scan on your video card -- this can be performed by running ATITool (yes, it also works on nVidia cards) for about 30 minutes in its "Scan for Artifacts" mode. You can get ATITool at atitool.techpowerup.com. Alternatively, you can use the Video Card Stability Test, which can be found at freestone-group.com.
