Which mage should I make?

Looking to make a mage class.  I've never done much with them, just didn't work out that way. Here's what I'm looking for, can you tell me which of the subclasses is for me? 1) Can trio well with a fury and zerker 2) Can solo well 3) Useful in high end raiding Thoughts?

If yo wanna dps, go sorceror if you wanna dps with some utility, go summoner if you wanna be utility and power battery with some dps, go enchanter. Soloing; Enchanters solo just about anything in the game that is not immune to CC. And they can keep a full room locked down while they do it more or less. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Wizards can take down the same mobs as the enchanter only faster, but not lock down a full room while doing it. Summoners come in somewhere in between. Groups, chanters have the same capability to lock down rooms, their dps is usually left wanting. they do however tend to be [Removed for Content] useful whent he [Removed for Content] hits the fan. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> sorcerors, its all about the dps baby. and ltos of it. summoners, dps, and some utility. As for raids, summoner and sorcs are usually there for one thing, dps. the chanters are there for two things, hate manipulation and power regen.

<p>for the first time in a long while I think its fair to say any of the mages will fit well.</p><p>The 2 chanters (Illusionist and coercer)  are really more support classes but both are excellant soloers and even there dps isnt that bad and both will aid your groups dps considerably.</p><p> Wizards and Both summoners have long been at the top of the caster pile but with EOF its fair to say that Warlocks have crept right back up there with them.</p>
