View Full Version : Need Some Oppinions

I keep thinking about making a movie version of a story for my character and decided to take the first step today.

I'm curious to see what the community thinks about my intro sequence. This technique is rudamentary, but effective at achieving what I want. Basically I made a template .bmp file then used an effect over and over again till I had a set amount of frames. Then I imported them into Windows Movie Maker making each frame as low as possible. They had about .07-.06 second showing time achieving the moving sun effect.

You can download the file from my website here (Just right click and select save target as to the link). It is not too big at 2.32mb but will grow when I add more to it.

Thanks in advance for any and all oppinions.

Each one had to be reduced to .07 second showings and I would have gone lower but that's as far as I could go.

Unfortunately I may have to do the old Camera infront of the monitor trick for doing my movie. I don't like it but i'm running low on space and don't think I could use Fraps then the movies. I'll try to add in some nifty effects and see what happens.

Some of you Devil May Cry fans may know the intro movie music as the E3 promo music. I hooked up the audio cables from my PS2 to my laptop and used the audio recording program to get it. Nearly blew out my soundcard when I first tried it with my N64, but found the problem and fixed it.

I'm still examining locations for shots and practicing some stuff to get it just right. When it's in a final form i'll post up something new here for those that want to take a look at it.
