Please fix Fae's glide to work with the Wargs, or at least so we don't jump off 3 foot high rocks and taking 200 points of damage... OK i didnt explain this enough...I jumped off a high cliff, canceled my warg and still fell to my death... I then jumped off a rock while still on my warg, about 3-4 feet off the ground and took 200 points of damage that any other toon would have not taken any...I jumped off the same rock with my Fury with no mount and took no damage...so it looks like having a Warg and jumping off low objects actually makes you take damage that you wouldn't have if you have no mount... Not up for a debate, not going to entertain "trying to make it real" this is a fantasy game where Fae's dont take damage when they jump unless they are DoTed or being hit on...Thanks....

Faes take damage on all the other mounts, except the free carpet for some reason. Why should this be any different?

Aw, c'mon, are you saying that a Fae shouldn't be able to glide while carrying a horse/warg/rug?

I I jump off and cancel my warg, I still take damage/die....Even if I don't hit the ground before I cancel the mount... I don't care if I have to summon him again, but if I jump off my glide should let me land safely...it doesn't

I think they should fix it where you will glide if you cancel the mount, and also if you are taking damage from falling from a lower height than you should. But as far as gliding with a warg between your legs.... ummm no.

Expecting to cancel your mount IN fall and avoid damage is wishful thinking in the extreme!

Sounds about worth 200 dmg to me.

bleap wrote:
*snip* Fae's dont take damage when they jump unless they are DoTed or being hit on...
No, it's been said since beta that Fae's don't take damage from "falling" unless they are on mounts or have agro. Selectively leaving mounts off that list doesn't make it true. As someone said before, if you want a mount for your Fae and don't want to take falling damage, start cancelling it BEFORE you jump. And IMO, that quested carpet needs to be fixed so that you take falling damage with it as well. Either that or they make ALL lightweight/magical mounts (carpet, faction carpet, cloud, hoverdisk, am I missing any?) allow for glide to work while they are in use. But regular mounts? No way, never.

Flying carpets should glide or give the effect of gliding. Maybe they should use the same spell as the Gnomish Stilts?

Wargs should give the effect of riding a roller coaster and fall like a sack of taters from around 3 ft off the ground.

Horses should be the best mount. They should have a speed and endurance boost based on their owner givng them food and water.
