Shadowy Attendant after GU34

Is it me or this spell is bugged? No more badger that heals over time but a spirit that apparently does nothing. What gives?

Wow, when I was using him in Deathtoll last night I didn't notice anything untoward. Mind you with all the battle spam I thought he was healing. I'll have to look through my logs! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yes, you're right. The pet does aoe damage now. This pet was a famous badger that aoe healed up until GU34. I'm not complaining about more damage that's given but it caught me by surprised that there was no update notice on this. I do miss having a healing pet in groups though now.

He is still healing, although maybe not as much, I don't know.  I don't really use him that much due to his small range.  But Umbral Attendant's Oracle's Blessing is still showing up on my healing parse.  Someone had told me that he also has/had a chance to increase group power regen, although I have had a hard time telling whether that is really the case or not.  Anyone know?

Any news on that ? I /bugged it. Its showing up in my chat and leaving. Without doing nothing visible. I had the feeling once that it heals, but i doubt it. Could have been a huge tick from runic and food too.

Will have to test this when I get home.  I kinda liked having the little twit pop up behind/in front of my and stand there healing the silly mage that got too close.

Oh crapola..did they mess the Bear/Badger up again?  Like 2 years ago this spell worked...then didnt work..worked a little..then didnt work again..did they break it again?  I havent played my Mystic in awile but testing it should be as easy as taking some falling damage and hitting the spell...if it doesnt do a "heal over time" tick then its messed up. Or did they change it to do something else and not put it in the update notes?  Is it they fixed something else and broke this?  Gonna test it tonight and see whats up with johnny ghost bear.

I checked combat logs after I plopped out badger to do secondary healing while I locked Oberon on a tank, and wondering why the mage who had some dents in him wasn't getting any heal love. No healing, but some random 100-150 point or so nukes (lifetaps, but with no heal component) every so often. :/ Guess the ol' critter goes off my spellbar until this gets fixed. :/

Ah well. Looks like it broke with the /pet hide changes. I really want him back.

he does have a small ward type thing ive noticed, very small though like a 100 hp ward too that it spams. but im not 100% that its that and not a proc.

I personally like the change to the pet. At 45 it is a nuke pet and at 59 it heal pet. They are on different timers but everyone knows how weak the hot on the pet was and though useful at times it is nice to have the option if you want extra dmg or more heals. I play on pvp so my opinions are different. To those who are not 70 and miss there heal pet though. Don't fret you get it at 59 now.

I had a look into this at the weekend. I am just 57 mystic, so i only have the lvl45 version. While we where standing and waiting for others at the entrance of the Mines of Meldarath i casted it just for fun. All grey minotaurs around us aggroed me at once. Okey... so it does AE damage <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I tried a few times more and found out that the lvl45 attendant is named "unknown" in the logs. Thats why i didnt find it earlier. It does a nuke and tries to leech. So basically a lifetap. But it was resisted everytime i tried. Even on greys. Got to love that leech if it would work <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Its, by the way, not possible to name that attendant. So check parses for Unknown.

<p>I have not checked it but considering it was "fixed" and the way it was previously and I believe is meant to be is a small area healing pulse, I would bet that he just does straight heals like he did before they accidently gave him an ae.</p>
