Anyone seen the set gloves drop off the Avatar since the set loot change? We have done it 6 times since the patch and never seen a set glove drop off the actual Avatar. We only saw one off the King. Just wondered if this patch broke it or if it is just bad luck. I know that it doesn't drop all the time despite it being a 2 hour respawn which bites but that is another topic. Just wanted to see if others are seeing this.

I saw three chests drop last night off the avatar as the same people killed it. They got set gloves each time - Wizard, Necro, Templar. I got to watch. I despise how we've replaced the dragon-camping farmers in PoA with this. What's the deal though. . . I thought it was supposed to be limited to classes participating? The 3rd time they had a Temp, but the first two times they had only an Illusionist and a Fury in the group.

I thought it was intentionally vague in that it didn't specify how many classes had to be present. So now I wonder if that is that intentional so that people can continue farming it? I mean, it's not like you're going to take down the RAID mobs with 24 Berserkers, so making the "distinct class" has to be intended for the heroics so people can't just get the ones they want guaranteed. But if 2 classes is still random that leaves it a lot more open to farming, as evidenced by the aforementioned gloves which were then listed for 40P a pop. Again: The Butler and this ring event are PoA all over again. I'd really like to have developers consider something to prevent this. My suggestion would simple be to change the timer on the ring event to be random rather than 2 hours. A range of 15 minutes to 2 hours. So if they want to farm that's great, they can sit around and twiddle their thumbs a lot too rather than just switching characters when it's time. Something tells me if I went home now the same folks would arrive right before the ring event pops. I'm just a hater I guess. I hate farmage. Especially when the farmers in question don't put a piece I need up for sale.
