Snare - level 10 only

<p>Hey all,</p><p>So my fury has had snare since level 10. I have never used it. Two questions:</p><p>1) I only have the level 10 spell, even though I am level 62! Is there an upgrade? It keeps getting resisted, so I presume it does not scale with level...</p><p>2) Shoujld I use it when soloing and/or in group encounters? The Snare furys get is the only one, and has the same 40% (?) I think we get AAs in the EoF line to uncrease the %age. I believe it only slows movement speed, had no effect on attack speed or anything like that. I tend to find it largely useless in PvE encounters since we now have a root. I used to use it so it would take longer for a mob to get to me when soloing, but it was quite ineffective. In a group I suppose it would help to slow the amount of time the mob would take to get to an over excited dps class if it peels from the tank...but only really effective if you keep the snare active at all times...even then i cant see it making much difference. I now use it in PvE only to up my subjugation skill, but now I'm lvl 70 I dont need to do that either. The amount it is resisted is based on your subjugation skill, and if that's not capped, it will resist a lot. In PvP (where I play) it is very useful to slow people who are running away from you.

<p>From my personal experiences, i find the fury snare to be really useful, it slows a mob by 40% and if you use 3 AA points on it, it will cap at 61%.</p><p>for PvE , a combination of root and snare plus ive invested a couple of Aa points on the peerless predator line giving me in combat speed increase, enables me to take down up to yellow con triple up heroic nameds solo by kiting em around. (just make sure all your spells and gear are upgraded and at par with your lvl)</p><p>for PvP snare is very important.</p><p>and as for snare being resisted a lot , make sure your subjugation is maxed/capped like wat the previous poster said.</p><p>cogjhie</p><p>70 Fury</p>
