Hey there! Since i like to have something different than the quested 40% runspeed carpet and I would like to have fae fall on a mount too, i thought i'd get me one of those nice: aITEM -1383899054 742693549:maj'dul enchanted scroll/a carpets... So i went to the mage tower in SQ and bought one and , of course, had to test it right away... ouch! ...Somehow i managed to survive, maybe an updraft picked me up in the middle of my fall, not sure, but it was not the kind of feather fall i had hoped for! I know i can glide down the mage tower without taking any falling damage at all with the fine carpet, my friend "El'Khazi, Purveyor of Fine Carpets" gave to me. I'm sure with the new warg mounts - Thanks for that one Devs, they look awesome!!! - its not that important to fix that old 48% rug, but for a fae its a nice option to consider. Maybe this was just overlooked and is easy to fix... Okay thx and bye gnomish greetings (yeah gnomish, the fae is an alt ) --streeky EDIT: spelling...

I am going to probably say its a bug with the 40% carpet as to my knowledge it is the only mount that will work with the fae fall ability.

I guess I should pay more attention to the forums. All I heard was "fae flight works on carpets" so I went out and bought one only to discover; OUCH OUCH OUCH, no! It does not work on purchased carpets. (I now have a broken wing, tyvm). It makes total sense for fae flight to not work on a horse mount. There's no way a fae could lift a horse while in flight... but a carpet? ALL the carpets should work with fae flight. Please fix this. Pretty please. With sugar on top. I just spent a lot of money and status on this and am sooo disappointed.
i hope they dont nerf the 40% carpet for my 70 swash fae now..

My frog can fly on a horse with the Fae Wing Cloak from EH, my Fae with wings can't (and drops like a rock if I have a mount casted, but don't ride it because the zone doesn't allow it) It should be the same for everyone, either you can fly on mounts or you can't (and Fae flight should work if you casted your mount but can't use it).

Since they have the ability to do Fae glide now... why don't ALL the carpets give fae glide...?! They're FLYING carpets after all...
