Okay. I am the Guild Leader of Speak Softly, on Nektulos server. I set us up a site (speaksoftly.eq2guilds.org). I can get to the forums. Two of my other guild members have gotten to the forums. Everyone else has been trying for days, and can't get there! We've tried everything. Is there something that we're missing? According to all the settings, everyone should be able to get there and post. But, only 3 of us can. HELP!

Wysp

Are the two who can in a different geographical area than the rest who have tried? This may be one of the repeated localization errors SOE has been having problems with.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that I have 2 players who live near each other. One can get to the forums...and one can't.

Wysp

I created our guild forum todays, and when I click on the various threads, I do not see any submit or create new thread option. I looked through the various options to see if there was a permissions issue, but I am listed as an admin. Another member of the guild, who has leader access, tried as well, and he had the same issues as I did by not being able to post. The forum is: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2g...tegory_id=12587

Still can not access the guild forums and I have PMed a web developer have posted in the support section and have not gotten a reply from anyone. Currently we have two members that can post and access and that is it. I am a leader and have admin access and still can not login to the forums. has anyone come up with any kind of fix in the settings area for the forums? http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2g...?guildId=170109 I get access denied or if I do a search of my posts and click on one I get ""Oooops. You don't have sufficient privileges to access this topic"" Seeing as SOE is ignoring the problem rather then fixing it does anyone have any ideas. the guild leader that created the forums has done everything he can and only himself and one other member can access and post.

I cannot post new threads on my guild forums either. As I am the guild leader and have things I want my members to know this is very frustrating.

by dumb luck i found the create topic button...the skins for some reason are covering the picture of the button but if you hover in the right spot you will get the mouse hand option. Trying to link a picture, but its basically right under the section name left of the eq2players.com link.

Still no luck on my guilds forums, either. I heard about the missing button that really is there...just invisible. Havent seen it yet myself, though, since we've all but given up on our eq2guilds site and have been using a GuildPortal site instead. The layout isnt as nice, and the roster is manual...but, at least it works.

Wysp O'Wyll

Guild Leader of Speak Softly

Nektulos Server

There a thread http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=364094 where a dev is currently working on one of the problems with the guild forums. The Access Denied issue and has discovered missing data permissions in the forum setup. Just thought you might want to know.

Just thought that I'd let you all know that my guild forums are FINALLY working! WOOHOO! They seem to have fixed the problem, though my settings were already done the way they said we needed to make them for it to work. Whatever they did...THANKS, GUYS! Is everyone else fixed up, now, too?

Wysp O'Wyll

Ours have been working fine since my last post. Maybe you should try contacting one of the devs directly or something?

Wysp O'Wyll

*sighs* Yep. The forums have gone bad again. Several of my guildmates have been getting the old 'Access Denied' message again. The rest of us are getting an error that says we just need to hit the back button and try again....and even that doesnt work. Plus, all the other stuff that Vollux said. Where would I be without my officers? Hehehe.

Wysp O'Wyll
