My guild went into the labs last night and had our MT spawn Lord Vyemm & Alzid Prime and then CoH him. We quickly found that SOE either changed his leash or CoH bugged the encounter since he never broke from the encounter. We ran all the way back to the zone in and still was locked. Even had the RL yell but nothing. At this time we just went down and ate the death. After that they said they would just use a FD to spawn them since they can do it without taking a hit. My question is how do you guys spawn it? I've never seen them spawn so I don't know if I just need to run in an FD or FD and then start a dialog with them. I'm sure the next time there they are going to ask me to do it since I spawn the traps in HoS for them. Any advise would be great.

It's really not that hard, just run in and as soon as the dialog starts, FD. Or, if you want some excitement, wait until Vyemm starts moving, and THEN try to FD. It's much funner that way.

We set the raid on the stairs down to Doomsworn/Corsolander room. This is outside Alzid Primes range.

I go into the area where Alzid Prime is from the previous name's room. When the dialogue starts I run!

Then I like to see how far I can get back to them before fd. I usually wait one hit before fd - in defensive stance this is no problem. Occasionally I make it back to the stairs, but usually have to fd about where the Corsolander stands.

Xenderson

Could also have been an issue with the diety pets. I know they were causing issues with some encounters if someone used the new /pet hide command. Our FTH raid ran into a bugged Treyloth because after we had a bad pull he just stayed agro and was swinging at "unknown" keeping us locked out of the room.

Supposedly this was fixed with the recent hotfix that went in today (4/27).

We are heading to the labs on Tuesday so I'll find out.

Ya halfway up those stais is the point where primes agro range breaks. Its important to break this encounter BEFORE you try the actual pull. If somebody is too high on the stairs and gets agro, Vyemm will reset around the 5th step down so make sure nobody gets thrown up there by door.

To break the encounter just have everyone stay behing those doors at the top of the stairs. Someone pull him and take the hit. Now it's safe to come halfway down the stairs and do the actual pull. We often have a conj or necro posess minion and run in there and hit vyemm. If they get damage off, vyemm will come a little further and prime will reset and go back to the arena.

BTW, never revive until the reset!!!
