The Brownies are killing me

<p>Doing Brownie L&L and it hurts...</p><p>Everytime I nail these poor little things a piece of me dies. </p><p>You loot a Brownie pancreas i got used to now, I've done it a few times, but when I get the chance to pull one of their teeth out I'm the one who is going to feel the pain.</p><p> I want their weapon on my wall but why oh why are they so cute...rethinking my evilness...someone please re-hate me.</p><p> Does anyone else hate killing Brownies? </p>

<p>Hating brownies is a learned process. I got my dislike for them in EQ1 where they were harder to spot in LFay then they are here. You would be traveling through, doing a quest, or whatever and run into them. For their size, they were very tough. After that it was time to run back and try to get your body from them so you could loot it. If you happened to run into one of thier huts, it could be painful and cost yet another death do get them back unless you were a necro that could summon corpses. Of course unless doing mistmoor castle, you never bound yourself in lfay anyway so you would be starting from where ever you were last bound. </p><p>Picture missing the correct fork in a path in the woods costing you and hour or more to get back all your equipment if that helps and losing a level possibly even. </p>

<p>I used to set up camp in lesser fay in EQ1 at the brownie village and slaughter them for hours on end for the brownie parts for baking, and i will have to say i became so frustrated with brownies i was happy to wipe them out.</p><p>When i found them on EQ2 and did the lore and legend i found out.......i still enjoyed ridding the world of Norrath of the little buggers. Also was very happy to find Nillipuss in EQ2 as well, used to take him out everytime i visited rivervale in EQ1!!!</p><p>I told the little buggers back in EQ1 i would make thier children and thier childrens children pay for thier dirty deeds, and well now looks like that is the truth <img src="/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Maybe I should have made a Freeport character cause I think it's great fun to aggro as many as I can and AE them down with my fury.  The only thing I don't like about them is their bodies are so small sometimes it's easy to miss looting them =p

Brownies instilled the fear of them in me from the start.Within the first month of playing eq1 i was told to meet someoen in akanon and i was in gfay. i didnt know my way around lfay at all........ i was scared sensless brownie poped out from a tree and i was dead befor i could blink.i then spent 5 hours running around lfay dieing MANY times more looking for my original body. Finally i somehow managed to find it loot it and RUN the hell out of there. I never went back to Lfay until i was high enough for those buggers to be deep grey and could nuke them down in 1 shot pretty much. They all fell to my might after that. The first time i saw them in eq2 i did not know they were brownies because i was still alive and they wernt agroing me.I have yet to kill one as i dont find a need for it. But whenever i do i will take deep pleasure in covering the lands in their blood. DEATH TO ALL BRONIES AND BROWNIE LOVERS!!!!!

<p>At long last.</p><p>We are able to kill some animals and the like from "good" side. It has been naggin me since launch. that the hole games is based on the qeynos player side. 90% or so of agro mobs is from the evil side. </p><p>loads and loads of quest is to go kill some evil alliance mob. That aint great at all when your playing from freeport side.</p>

<p>Yes, they do drop chocolate. A bar of chocolate I think was the item. A friend sent me a tell yesterday or so suggesting that the Devs are screwing with us by having Brownie mobs drop bars of chocolate.</p><p>lol</p><p>I personally rather dislike Brownies because they gave my swashie a fair amount of XP did. Revenge was chocolatey-sweet however when I ran my warlock there and massacred pretty much all of that stupid little town thing they have in Lfay. Ah yes, my loathing for brownies goes back to EQ as well. Back then the little buggers were druids and zipped around the Lesser Faydark with SoW. What  made them so terrifying was the most of the zone was teens level encounters, but brownies were mid fourties level. So they zipped around the forest like a blur of death. The could sweep into a group of teens players, snare one, root one, kill one, run down a few stragglers and still come back to mop up the snared and rooted victims. Plus, they were kill on sight to everyone by default. You could raise your faction with them, but exacting revenge was SO much more fun. Even my druid never forgave them for the hell they put her through.

I'm working on my brownie Destroyer title. I hated the little guys in EQ-1. The only thing that made me pause was EQ-2 lore. Brownies actually came to the defense of Kelethin and were the reason the wood elf city survived. The pause was about 1.5 seconds and then I started killing brownies.

Don't know why ppl have any issues with kililng the little buggers. I had no remorse whatsoever about removing their parts in a slow and painful manner.
