Was checking the Station store today, I noticed the current price of EverQuest II Echoes of Faydwer digital download equals the retail price. So I started checking all digital downloads for EQ2. Each expansion is still available for digital download along with (but seperate from) the orginal game software. Seems strange since retail version of EverQuest II Echoes of Faydwer comes with the orginal and all expansions (including all in game bonuses except the collector's edition dragon egg).

Have any of you recently purchased the digital download of an expansion?

I always buy the retail version of the expansions. I noticed that companies like Amazon, Play etc all offer a discount and with no shipping fees can work out the same price as digital download, bonus is you get the freebie goodies and another load of DVD's to play frisbie with (my dog loves them)
