I highly doubt it... a Berserker might come close but I think he would run out of HPs before he won.... would still be impressive DPS.... only reason he would come close is because of his massive "rampage" as I call it.. open wounds + Destruction and the fact he has the MIT and Avoidence to take a lil abuse. Fury is a very versatile class and I am glad it's in my line up. Should see me do the same thing though 3 boxing ;-p I pack a wicked punch.... as you can imagine from my class list in my sig.... can't wait until I can Jester's cap myself.

that was actully very weak DPS, wizards, Warlocks, basicly anyone with a few out of encounter AE's could do this its not that hard to pull a bunch of gray mobs and AE them down. I have been doing this since we got ring of fire back in T6 for doing writs. When we got call of storms it just made it faster but anyone can pull massive ammounts of gray mobs and do this.

aoes are nice but you prob could have cleared that floor quicker by starnova/ring of fire one group at a time.

<p>i seemed to find ring of fire only hits up to 8 things in big ae's like that, same for call of storms</p><p>dunno about starnova, but im pretty sure the ae stuff, least for my lil fury, only hits up to 8 things per strike?</p>

Now me some 1750 parses that some of us real fury's do that dont involve ext dps against 74x4 epic mobs.

<p>When built right furies are basically dps classes (sacrafice healing).</p><p>I recently spec'd to more healing but I parsed this in labs with it (sorry bout grafix, playing on a laptop and it is rough). May be hard to see but I outparsed a few necros and a warlock on a 2-mob encounter here (1701 dps):</p><p><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c180/Psyco_SWG/EQ2_000082.jpg" border="0"></p>

My highest DPS parse is from DT the snake things... group of 8 I can hit around 3-4k dps. I have int and sta on druid tree and went all the way down animal line in Fury tree and Energy line. I love energy Vortex I can be on top of the heal parse and I can be pretty high on the dps parse. I love how furys are very universal.

If you consider a paladin a healer they can do that Wrath line boosts all their aoes by 25% dmg and throw consecrate on with 70+ spell crit be doing high aoe dmg heh. But that is if you consider them a healer type cause they can spec to the role of a healer <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yea in DT I parsed near 2k with energy vortex and one lucky crit on starburst, rest of the fight I was doing nothing lol..but alas, our warlock parsed 5k and beat the [Removed for Content] outta me

Since its still not possible to edit any post a new one <img src="/smilies/136dd33cba83140c7ce38db096d05aed.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Just tried that and it was quite easy,no healing was needed. So yes other priests can do this, with ease i might add.

I can tell you - it's a definite "No" from Defilers. I started a Fury alt of late and have been loving doing the DPS: it rocks!
My fury out parsed a conj in Lycuem last week. Thats the ultimate AE challenge right there. Conj is still overall the best group encounter dpsers but I think furies are a close second. I have both btw.
