I see the warg has been reduced to 45%, that is certainly in line with a T6 quested mount and I'm not complaining. But for my 70 character with a GL60 50% horse, there is no reason for me to quest for this mount, but at the same time I have been hoping and praying for another mount look than the rehashed horses.

Would it be so difficult to put in a uniquely colored/armored warg which cost more pp, cost some gp, that was 50% in line with the GL60 horses? It is a bit dissapointing to be level 70, look at the warg mount and say wow it looks awesome, but meh on the runspeed so I will pass.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

It would hav ebeen nice for them to add in a guild level reward for these for those of us sick of horses.

I was hoping for a large cat mount when they released EoF....how cool would a ratonga look on a cat.

Now that they have the Warg mount model in-game, adding a few more variants won't be too tough. The devs have stated they want to add more versions of the Warg mount.

There are more warg models done already, they will be available through other means in the not too distant future.

Perhaps even some with +disruption/subjugation/ordination, since the current ones are very fighter/scout focused.

What are the chances of you creating Dragon mounts for us Troll Swashbucklers in the near future?

I only hope one day, I will see a Giant Vulrich as a mount. For some reason I really like to have one as a mount .

Lyndro-EQ2 wrote:
The mounts with stats have + focus on them for casters as well as the melee skills.
I think the point they were trying to make is that the +s on mounts help melees perform their normal function (hitting mobs) whereas they help casters when they are not perfoming their normal functions (getting hit by melee).

Yeah... let's see... +melee skills helps them to hit and helps with every aspect of their damage.

+focus does.... umm... nothing for caster dps.

Yeah I'd say they are comparable alright... yeah that +focus helps all the spells just like the +melee skills help all their damage. Obviously +focus has some sort of hidden +spell hit component we don't know.

Another problem is the stupid backup / jump in place thing with horses, thats why I opt'd for a carpet, its just not as annoying. Need to add another carpet with CASTER buffs (subj disr etc) and maybe something worthless for melee (+10hp) =p

Seriously thuogh, Id like to see a caster carpet, that'd be nice

I too would love to see some type fo mount that added to usefull mage skills, the +7 to slash/cruash/pierce is like gaining 1.4 levels in abilty to hit a mob which can be huge as the higher the hit % the better your chance of surviving an encounter as it will die faster. The plus casting skills would help a mage in surviving the encounter as roots will less likely get resisted and spells willl not get resisted as much and lead to a higher hit % which same as above has the same results.
