Servers down?

Hi are the servers down? Suddenly got disconnected and have been getting repeated messages of "Trying login server x". Eq2players lists the servers as down but not sure if that's updated. And it's 3 hours prior to the downtime.

Yeah...it says that they were going down at 4 AM PDT today lol.

I was in game when the servers went down.  There were no messages prior to find a safe place or any of the normal warnings in game that they were taking the servers down?  I also don't see anything on the eq2players page to indicate them comeing down early, at 4am?  It would have been nice to have had an ingame warning.

I posted a reply on another comment on this, the news you link to is not on my eq2players server status page.  A news link pretaining to server downtime should certainly be on the server status page.  I don't show it my lateset on server status is a mention of april 15th and of course the list of servers down.  Also posting on the eq2players cite is hardly a reason not to warn people in game as most people don't read eq2players before or while playing.  How hard would it have been to have them warn in game like they do when the server is coming down normally at 7am?
