How about creating a stable per say so a player can store all of his/her mounts. Then let's say they can hit a button that will give an option for the player to pick a mount that they have stored in their stable. That way people don't have to carry the carpet or whistles with them to pull up a mount. i.e. carpet, horse, or warg. Comments?

Right now my main isn't using a mount at all. Guild is level 36 so the fastest mount she can have gives +40%. Her AA buffed SOW gives her a run speed of +45% and lasts 45 minutes. That's what she's using.

I don't really understand the purpose of what your saying. How many mounts do most people have? Why would someone carry around a mount that would go slower then another? For the looks maybe, but even then your talking about like 2-3 inventory spots at the most. Besides, there are stables in the game already. That's where you can purchase mounts. Do you really want to have your carpet rolled up in the corner of a horse stable?

You are missing the point.... EQ2 is going to be around for a long time and more and more mounts most likely will be on the rise, MANY of the same run speed. Was just an idea though....

Why would you want multiple mounts hanging around when you can convert them back into (at least some) plat?

Got a hotbar just for summoning mounts and switching robes (:

Your "stable" is you bank, simply put the mount you don't want to use at the moment into your bank, and if you want to switch, go to the bank and take whatever you want .. so voila .. there you go

Playing a white cuddly ratonga fits much better with a white simple horse then those metal-covered things), the quested carpet, a war-barded cavalry spiritsteed (it was the least non fitting horse with speed I could find for a little mage, when I cant wear armour, why would I want a horse in armour?), an overclocked gnomish hovering device and a 'normal' gnomish hovering device (wanted to see if it looked same as the overclocked, wich it unfortunatly does). Untill my slower hovering device is out of charges that adds up to 5 mounts, 6 when the warg comes. Could I sell or bank a few of them? Sure, but I happen to be one of those packrats that like to have looks for all occassions, I carry several robes that are greyed out for looks only, several weapons etc. As a mage with very limited carry capacity it adds up quick. *shrugs* Its my own choise to carry useless items on me, but ability to look how I feel like at the moment is important to me, wich means Ill want to have those items handy when I want to use them. I dun expect the devs to make any changes for people like me, but I sure wouldnt mind it. If carry capacity wasnt limited by strength and I could carry same on my mage as on my monk Id have no issues, but thats not the case, thus my 'fashion' mania will fill my slots out and ideas like the OPs will look attractive in my eyes.

Good idea to be honest.

While most seem to mess the point : Options!

A stable would be nice, there are, despite popular belief, actually people who care for the little things in life too.

(And by the latest studies are happier than the rest *cough*)
