Escape to Kugup and summon Giidib

I just loged in a very old character that used to be able to call to Kugup and summon Giidib..Are these abilitys no longer part of the game?  I tried it at the Pond in antonica. Thanx for any info

If you finished the village part of quest the only way in is through feerot to Kugup.
