Hi guys, How much you guys will like if we have this option? You will not appear in /w all, friend list or even guild window.

I wouldnt like it because...if my friends need help all of a sudden (same with my guild) i wouldnt be able to respond...and if it was on short notice how would i be able to plan their help heh. now i guess some people would luike it but i really dont like the idea.

This game is about playing with others. You joined the guild to play with others.

You can do exactly what you're looking for, by disbanning guild and /ignore, or create some alts that nobody knows about.

Actually, there are times I wouldn't mind a function like this. I keep my cell phone on me all day long, but there comes a point where I just want to be left alone, so it is turned off. However, I still keep it with me, in case of an emergency or something.

It doesn't help at all if someone you know and like has an emergency and they cant' reach you. I simply have to ask who would anyone in EQ want to hide from? If your friends with them (in game or other wise) they will understand if you simply say "I am doing <insert random task here> and am busy". If they aren't your friends, who cares? Not trying to bash you, just wondering with all the things they could work on in the game why would anyone want them to waste time on this?
What purpose would it serve?

There are times when you just don't want to interface with anyone! When I really want to be alone and zone out due to stress in Real Life I have to resort to another game. It would be nice to just be totally invisible once in a while. Though its not often I want to be alone, it would be nice to have the option.
This is something that I can't see being implemented any time soon because it would benefit farmers way more than it would benefit an average player...

Heh...i see no point in it...if you dont want anyone to bother you type /afk <I am currently doing <instert random task> please dont bother me." lol i do that every once in awhile and if anyone reports you thinking your botting or something just talk when the GM messages you

If you don't want to help out your guild and friends atleast have the gonads to be honest. You don't need to appear offline to do what you want in a game you (or your parents) pay for.
Here's an idea: Instead of appearing offline, you could actually be offline and do stuff out in the real world.

When I wanna be left alone, I just ignore people. One isn't forced to use their tells and guild chat, and mine are actually on diff tabs, so I just switch to a tab that they are not on and do my thang. You could also /afk easily. So basically..I spose some could find it useful, but I'd rather see things go into game that would be more widely used by everyone and not just by a narrow minority.
