This command ( if i typed it right) lets you quickly setup a UI, however it also annoying adds channels you can't talk in. IE my lvl17 monk can't speak in 30s or40s channel but they occupy /1 and /2. Whats the command to reassign the numers?

i guess you can log on to your higher toon and uncheck all the channels then relog to lower toon and reload settings.

i have the same problem so i will try this asap.

the Toon I loaded it from only has the 50s channel active, 20s n 30s are unchecked. No I remember somone telling me there was a command like /channel # # or such, but I can't seem to find it.

right click in the chat box, and you can select the channels you want there. But, for example, if the chat channel you want to keep is #11 and even though that's the only channel you're now using, it will stay #11, until you re-log, then it will go back to #1.

I never found the user interface as good as the commands for managing channels, only for deciding which channel goes to which chat window. (I have 3 chat windows) Sometimes I'd remove the channel and it'd be back. /leavechannel # I believe is the simplest way of getting rid of a channel. /channellist will give you a listing of channels and corisponding numbers. (bonus)/whochannel # will give you a list of who is in the channel.

When I copy UI files, I always get that "you do not have the required privileges" message. I just use the /leaveall command, then rejoin the channels I want / am eligible for with that particular character. Works every time!

The command "/setchannelnumber <old> <new>" moves a channel to a different number. That number has to be unoccupied, though, so those "invisible" channels can be a problem. It will, however, move even those invisible channels so you can shift them to higher, unused numbers.
