Can the pvp test server be set so people can respec AAs without having to pay up to 10p for them? I'm dying to test out different specs and bugs with current specs, but as you can imagine cash won't be easy to come by on a Test server, so the number of respecs is very limited. Also, comparing spell damage on this server directly with my home server(Vox) some of my spells actually hit for less damage here with more Intelligence. Haven't seen any patch notes mentioning it, so kinda curious if it is intended or a fluke. Open chat between factions does not seem to be working for Exiles either.

Quest Sharing does not work for any quest that requires Citizenship. Just passing this along for all those exile that were praying to be able to finish claymore by only having 1 person exile over. It does not work.

The 40% cap was never to be tested out, it was just an idea that pretty much 95% of the pvp population disliked. So we havent heard anythin else about it from a Dev. Some ppl keep bringin it up though.

If test has 40% cap then its not working, people were fusioning others for a while yesterday, taking them from full to fainted many times.

The PvP environment is significantly different than the standard rule set EverQuest II servers, and the goal of this new PvP Test server is a better path from design through implementation on PvP items. We know that there will be many questions about this new server, and have put together this article to answer as many of them as we can.
How will the PvP Test server be different from other PvP servers?
The EverQuest II PvP Test server is an environment in which players can access a newer version of the game that includes the latest fixes and content additions before they go live to the regular servers. It's also a place where designers can test new ideas and systems to see whether they should be included or adjusted in the game. Please be aware that characters with abilities that can instantly kill other characters have been capped to do a maximum of 40% of the target player's health in damage.

I'm curious, has anyone actually been one shotted on test yet? From what i personally saw, people went from full to fainted, but never a true "1 shot" and even with the fainting included a debuff. Is it possible that this 40% thing will only prevent people from going 100% to dead in a single shot, but if under 100% life has no effect on big hitting abilities? I'm against the 40% rule, just don't like the idea of it, but i do think it is a little unbalanced for someone to be able to 1shot anybody. At least if you hit them for 90% of their HP, there is still an ever so slight chance of survival, with 1shotting there is not.

Its really hard to say, Sniper's Shot never 1 shotted anyone unless they had crap gear and are a greenie. On Test, Im still doing over 40% dmg with this one CA.

If this does go live, any kind of cap be it 40%, 60% or even 75% ppl are gonna be leavin this game (PvP) by the piles. Honestly I dont think the PvP servers can handle another big hit to them. Ppl that get 1 shotted all the time by Decap or HT are even sayin this is a bad idea with any kind of cap.

CAs/Spells are already scaled for PvP I thought...

The 40% doesnt look like its turned on for Test PvP for some reason which is why its not working. In the meantime, feel free to give feedback on the no zoning system.

The 40% cap will only drive away the "one button wonders" and if those people leave then so be it. It wont hurt my feelings at all. All the heavy hitting classes need to do is dust off the other CA/spells they have and learn to use them.
