About the 5.00 price change for station all access now called "Station Access" ? The only thing I can find is an annoucment on the forum:

We want to give you some important information regarding your Station Access subscription. Effective April 2, 2007, the new monthly subscription rate will be US$29.99 per month (not including applicable taxes). We know that rate adjustments are never popular, but the increase is driven by our desire to provide our Station Access subscribers with a consistently high quality entertainment experience, as evidenced by our most recent addition to the Station Access subscription plan, Vanguard: Saga of HeroesTM. You don't have to do a thing; you will automatically be migrated to the new monthly subscription rate under your existing subscription plan when your current subscription plan comes up for renewal on or after April 2, 2007. We appreciate your support and continued participation in our community. Station Access subscriptions are recurring, meaning you will continue to be billed at the appropriate subscription interval, until you affirmatively cancel your subscription. Subscription fees are subject to tax and value-added tax, as applicable. The subscription charges are in addition to the cost of the games that are part of the Station Access subscription plan. All game software is sold separately. How much will a Station Access subscription cost?

A: The subscription price is $29.99/month (plus taxes, if applicable). The Station Access subscription fee is a recurring charge (just like current individual game subscription account charges), which means that SOE has the right to charge your credit card for each subscription period unless and until you cancel. SOE may change the price at any time in its sole discretion. Prior to the effective date of any price change, SOE will (also at its discretion) either send an email to the latest address that it has for your Station Access account or patch a price change notice into each game.

In addition to the fees described above, if you are a resident of a European Union country or territory, you will also be charged a value-added tax (VAT) equal to 17.5% of the applicable fee.

I didn't see an in-game patch notice for Vanguard OR an email, And I have EQ and EQII characters and accounts. I had to hunt and hunt for any kind of information about it before finding it in forum annoucments here. I think that's rather wrong to "hide" it so well. I don't even see anything in Vanguard players news webpage. I just saw it on the bill and had no idea, maybe people still playing EQ2 got a notice in the patcher??

Thoughts? I might cancel for this stunt. I'm not playing any SOE games right now anyway. That's sad, I have had an EQ account since March 1999 when EQ started.
