We can make EQ2 better, i'm sure that the dev listen to our feedbacks and the more we feedback, the more it has a chance to come to RL (or VL should I say). Sometimes ago i used feedback to put in the game shrines to gods that would gave new spells and make carpenters happy: we got altars et voila I used feedback also to suggest new titles for killing many kind of mobs in the game and we got those titles for stuff that had been forgotten (aviaks, droags, etc). Here is some other 'easy' stuff I would like to see in the game: 1 Add an option to separate the black bar size independantly (the one up and down) and create also a black bar for left or right. Why ? Because some players have ALL their interface down the screen or up or left or right. It will have a good impact on the framerate because it could remove PRECISELY the part of the game that is drawn BEHIND the interface. 2 Create an option in the broker to find only collectables that you don't have. Like this you don't have to spend 2 hours to check the 1000+ of pages of collectable items

Ah yes, another funny idea not too hard to put in the game: 3 Add somekind of podometer that keeps track of any movement you do in the game and put titles related to that. Like Lonewalker after 1000 km,etc.

4 You could also add titles related to each zones. For example someone that has killed 10000 mobs in everfrost would be called Icemelter...etc 5 Add titles for those who have made thousand of normal quests. After 1000, 2000 or 3000 quests done you should have some title for that work don't you think ?

6 Show the rewards of collections. Collections are quests: they give xp, aa, they take time to kill mobs or to look for collectables...so why can't we know the reward ? Nothing is really secret in a MMO with all those websites giving a lot of infos. So it would be better to have the reward shown without looking for on the web. Advantage: more people will be interested in the collections because they will know exactly what it will bring to them.

IN game customer support...Guides and server GMs...It would serve 2 purposes... 1) to help players with real in game issues 2) help eliminate the perception that SOE has poor customer service. EQ1 had in game CS for a long time....Most people thought the guides were little help because they were barred from doing a lot of the things that the players wanted..(Giving Rezzes for "accidental or bugged" deaths) but as a former guide I can tell you that most people who petitioned with an in game issue were very thankful we were there...

Continue to improve the game engine, especially now that larger monitors with higher resolutions are coming out. The game runs great at lower res, but stutters badly at the higher end, even with a moderately decent graphics card (256+). Revamp the character models and improve armor selection. I know this is something "in the works" but it's needed NOW. Guild houses!!!

Allow grey quests to give aaxp, they give regular xp still so why not aa? This would open help the game so much, you can lvl up and not worry about losing out on aa from quests. It'll allow players with bad gear a way to get things done by going back later on and doing low level quests.

Adding a targeting command that name's your current's target's target. We have %t for our target, can't we get a %tt (or something) that names our target's target. It's my belief that the rendering bug is no bug at all, but was a change that was suppose to thwart the farming groups....If you go into a zone where pulling mass numbers of MoBs to AoE is possible you will see that the places that the most condusive to pulling to also happen to have the MoBs that appear out of no where because of this rendering bug...PoF is just like that around the goblin camps....I can't imagine them not be able to repair this since October when it first appeared. That's 6 months...I find it very hard to comprehend anyone not being able to repair something they accidentally broke in that period of time, even if it meant reversing the patches on test server until the problem went away and then finding out what caused the error in the first place

/shrug. Well, here's what I posted in the last wish list thread: -finish the model revamp- I'm ready for some new armors -give slowfall to more things- I'm specifically thinking of two things: flying carpets, and classes that had levitate in EQlive -a semi-instanced housing- Where there are instanced nieghborhoods to buy land and build houses in. I had a thread about this in the expansions forum awhile ago. -questlines that are city and archetype-specific- I'd like to see some huge, story-driven questlines that based around the factions/guilds in each of the cities. So, for instance, for my main, I would gain access to a large questline from the Concordium, as my main is a Qeynos-aligned Mage. These quests would in some ways be similar to the Courts quests in DoF, with you joining that faction, rising through the ranks, and performing tasks for them, things like that. -staves as walking sticks- A new set of animations that would allow characters equipped with staves, spears, and other pole-weapons to carry it like a walking stick, rather than having it strapped to their backs

1) Quest that can be set up by a guild leader/officer with the prize being assignable from the guild bank. Collections in a zone of items only the person who received the quest could see, kills of certain type mobs, races from place to place in a zone, ect. Would not be part of quest count or effect anything outside the guild. Just something a guild could do together. A generic NPC could be the "starter" for it. The guild leader/officer hails, picks the quest, assigns the reward and then it starts in say 5 minutes.

2) Add more negative effects to alcohol abuse. The drunker a character is, the harder it is to go in a straight line, maybe random aggroing of mobs or duel challenges (equivalent to the drunk shooting his mouth off), jail and a small fine if the player passes out in a city zone. Make drunken races part of number 1.

3) Tradeskill AA's.

4) Recipies that make highly desired items for all players to use, reactions that can kill eventually (just not the single failed reaction equals death of the early forge style).

5) More steps so that being a master crafter seems like you are crafting something and not just waving a wand and turning wood, metal, and roots into food, armor, ect.

6) Stop nerfing wardens on purpose(cures nerf) and by default. If we are going to be melee DPS (which I find fun), then we should be able to match a nuking fury's dps. We definitely are not more defensively orientated then Fury's are or I slhould say it is highly debatable at best. We can heal more but not handle spike damage as well as them. Allow wardens to use two handed swords since we were picked to be the best choice for melee between druids classes.

7) Allow players to do both tinkering and transmuting on the same character. My main is at 70/100AP/328 tinkering and needs some more to do or another expansion to come out in a month. Whatever is easier for SOE to get done first, I am not picky. I can't get into my alts except as collection item sponges and tradeskill assembly line production for needed items to supply my main.

Not just by doing writs for them but by making an actual commitment, kind of like how you align yourself with a deity. One long story driven questline plus several quick in-town quests, kind of like the Tear Grifter quests, would be great. Perhaps at the end you could unlock a spell/combat art that would be based on your combination of subclass and faction, or maybe even an entire skill tree. I think if for nothing else, it would make the towns seem more alive again.

It would be very innovative & rewarding for Crafters who have hit the cap to rework Treasured,MasterCrafted, & Legendary Items into new items with random stat increases and changes. After 70 Levels of Crafting allowing them to become True Masters of their professions would be rewarding and also bring new options into the game for not only them but the players that purchase their items. Keep the increases inline with the original items and you have no issues with them surpassing Fabled or Mythical and at the same time you have more items for sale and make crafting rewarding & appealing for Crafters.

- Consolidate some skills, too many abilities, too much button spamming. Tune what remains accordingly in terms of damage/cooldown. I'd even vote for a spell/art pool with a capped number, to be selected in any moment, but with some sort of cooldown/timing needed. Think about EQ1 casters when they wanted to switch spells on the fly. - Too many buffs, short and long term ones and debuffs on a single bar, makes everything unreadable: separate them in 2 different windows (one for buffs, with the short term appearing always at the top) and one for debuffs. Make the buff window readable, each buff identifiable more easily, because as it is now, it's a lot of garbage that I think no one really watches or keeps track of. - ban farmers more often, I get tired of chain training them to death, it's getting old and no longer fun (but still satisfying nonetheless). They are all a bunch of exploiters anyway. - more scripts even in mundane dungeons and not reserved only for raids, mobs with unusual abilities, like the revamped DFC (fear, berserk, huge regen, charm, etc.): tank and spank is old, a bit of creativity would go a long way. Ring events were fun in EQ1 Luclin era, now it's a bit monotonous to find only ring events and nothing else unless you bend over and start raiding (if it ever changes from that pattern).

After going to Unrest for the first time and getting my little message afterward I had the idea that more interactive type quests would be a great addition to the game. You could reach a point in a quest where the next step would be a random attack on you. It might happen in a number of difference city zones and you wouldn't really know when to expect it. Killing the MOB would reveal a note or item that would lead you to the next step. Perhaps you could get messages at some times that you feel you are being watched or stalked. Maybe a message in your mailbox that tells you to meet someone at a certain place after dark etc....

I would REALLY love to see some major improvements in the collection quest log. I'd like to have the ability to sort them by type, zone, completed etc.... To be able to click on a collection and see the names of all the items you still need.

I'd like to see the shiny circles revamped. You know, the ones that you can click on a stone when you see them and some kind of chest pops up out of the ground. I think those have potential but as they are the rewards are pretty lame. Make them drop rare shinies sometimes or harvested items, or pieces of some strange puzzle etc.... that when complete will start a quest with a good reward.

I want signs above the bells on the docks!!!! I hate running from bell to bell trying to remember which one goes where.

If I kill something and get a ding for it, I'd like the name of the quest AND the category it's under to come up in my chat window so I can find it. Sometimes I kill stuff that I need accidentally (in quests I'd forgotten about) and I want to find the quest to see what else I'm supposed to do.

I still want the community window improved. I'd like to be able to click on a name and send a tell.

Oh and if you get killed getting a shiny it should vastly increase your chances of it being a rare. (jk)

Redo the con system. I don't expect this to happen of course because it's a major undertaking (I would imagine) but it's my little whine.

There should be Heroic, Solo, Named and Epic MOB's. However, all of this ^^^ stuff needs to go. It really serves no purpose except to make the player do calculations in their head (not that difficult really just annoying) trying to gauge relative strength. Unless it's a "special MOB" like a Heroic or Epic, a level 8 MOB should be a level 8 MOB. Not a ^ up level 8 which is almost a level 9 or some such nonsense. Why would you even try to over-complicate a con system, used successfully by virtually every game out there, that you invented yourself in EQ1?

It doesn't make the game more difficult or challenging.
1. Ability to see armor and furniture before buying.

2. New and extra hairstyles, skins, and features. Possible quests to unlock the new hairstyles, features and skins. EX: See the barber and do some quests and he'll give your character the option to have a peircing, or tattoo, new skin pattern(for those monster races).

3. As mentioned earlier that faction questlines idea! Wonderful!

4. Add more content like Factions in Haven, like Smugglers, spies, etc. Make being an exile abit more interesting. EDIT: Add in Guild content for those Exile Guilds! Considering how hard Exiles have it (especially on PvP servers) they DESERVE more than anyone to have some guild goodies.

5. Revamp and update the Arena to make it something people will want to take part in more.

6. New Music Tracks. For those who use the Custom Music file to change the music. It turns out some zones share tracks...Zek and Obilisk of Lost Souls share the same track for example. Which kinda sucks...because if you give Obilisk of lost souls warzone like music...then Zek appears fine while the barren and dungeon like Obilisk makes no sense. While if you give obilisk gloomy void like music then Zek becomes dull and depressing.

7. Dungeon like traps. Ex: have treasure chests spawn like shinys; when you loot it the spiked ceiling starts to come down, add boulder chases, spiked pits, trap doors, or wall that shoot darts/spikes.

8. Mounts like Rhinos, Camels, Drakota, Boars, etc. Some non-guild mounts that are faster than 40% since most guild mounts are 50% and beyond; show those non-guilded people some love.

9. The ability to change your tradeskill class. Some of us have been stuck since launch with a tradeskill class. We can openly deny and change gods but we cannot choose to stop carving up wood and decide to forge some armor?

10. All Fae's betraying to Freeport should become warped from the change and have evil wings!! ...or be eaten...

How to make Josgar's EQ2 experience better! 1. Make Felwithe a starting town again. Neriak is going to be really close to Freeport... so why not make Felwithe a starting city again! 2. Give anyone who starts in Felwithe (AKA High Elves only) The ability to have special hairstyles/ 3. Make it so High Elves can no longer start in Kelethin 4. Take the dwarves and the gnomes and help them make starting cities somewhere. 5. Get halflings back into rivervale and make some low level content for them there 6. Give the Ratonga some new starting city 7. return all other characters to newly formed starting cities. 8. Remove racial neighborhoods from every single city ecxcept one or two for those who do not have the expansions that give access to those other starting cities. (North, South, East, West freeport and longshadow would remain. North South Qeynos, Qeynos Harbor, Eldar Grove, and Castleveiw hamlet would remain.) 9. since those cities shrank, more could be added to the commonlands and to antonica to reflect that.
