Class Hats

I won, a long time ago, a Diabolist Skull Masque from the Labs of Lord Vymm. I just returned to EQ2 a few days ago, and learned we have a much nicer class hat graphic. So I inquired as to where I go to change graphics, and was told it only works for Relic and Hoo'lah hats - not my raid-dropped Necromancer-only hat. Is that correct?

it only affected certian hats.  the hooluk and relic hats have to be turned in for a new graphic, and the dropped hat from the pally named at end of Vaults got changed by default.  i'm unsure of any other helms that have the newer nightblood skull graphic.
