This may be common for most of you rangers, but recently got Str line done with Agility and got a parse from the group I was with in DFC... I was generating 60% of the DPS when parsed out after encounters. [I cannot control my vocabulary] it feels good to be a gangsta. Thought I was share this with the ranger world.

I have gotten the Poise skill from the agility line already and I am 1 or 2 points way from completing the strength line. I am guessing that the master skills like the Poise are automatic, since I can not find it listed in my combat abilities. Of course I have not actually timed the recharge on the CA's to see if there was a difference from before the skill. I am looking forward to the added strength line. Of course I am just about to replace all of my gear with new lvl 50+ stuff, so will be looking for the AGI & STR plus stuff.

That is great I am glad you are both having fun. The ranger is certainly a fun class to play. I just wanted to clear up some misperceptions I saw floating in that thread. Poise does not affect our recharge time. Poise only affects the casting time of the CA itself. Also, the strength line's final ability does not half the recast timers. It makes Snipers 10 mins and Veiled 2 min. And that is the only 2 arts that the final line in strength affects. Most rangers, especially, raiding rangers find the intelligence line affords them more DPS because of the spell crits. But if you find yourself meleeing alot, then the strength line may be good for you.

I use poisons but solo alot (lvl 52). I might experiment with the int line and see what I get as far as DPS output. I'm currently thinking about switching over for awhile.

AGI/INT lines all the way.
