I first am very sorry for asking a question like this but it's been awhile for me, anyway i started a new toon and wanted to craft, when i started i recieved a lvl 3 artisan book, with my other toon i can buy lvl 2, my question is where is lvl 1, i need to make fried frog legs which is no problem but i need to learn the recipe of course, so i'm stuck at lvl 1 and cannot remember how to get past it, thanks for your help.

There's no level 1 book <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Go back to the Crafting Trainer (they're outside the Tradeskill Instances in Freeport and Qeynos, and near Joleena's Restaurant in Kelethin) and HAIL them, they will notice your interest in crafting and make you level 2, and give you the level 2 book.  Do a couple combines to get to level 3 and you can get on with the Choosing a Profession quest. <b><a href="http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html?guide=907" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Calthine's Definitive Guide to Getting Started in Tradeskills in Everquest 2</a> </b>
