STR acrylia ring vs AGI acrylia ring

<p>Can someone give me a basic definition of the buff procs on these and what they actually do?   </p><p>If you could only wear one which would you wear and why?  (assuming you have the haste gloves already)</p><p>Also, since I just switched back to my brig I have not kept up on the proc mechanics.  If both weapons have a proc on them will they both proc or only the main hand weapon?  I noticed adornments for weapons say they will only proc on the main hand if you DW.</p><p> But what about procs that come from the weapon itself?  (not adorments) If I have 2 DW weapons that both have their own proc do they both proc or only the main hand?</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>For a few of your questions:</p><p>Procs native to a weapon, as well as procs added by adornments will proc on both main hand and offhand weapons.  (the adornment language is wrong, devs had stated that offhand adornments do proc).</p><p>The things that proc off of only main hand weapons are added "spells" just as poisons, and buffs.  Basically, if the proc doesn't appear on the weapon itself, it will only proc off of main hand attacks.</p>

It procs on auto-attack swing, which happens a lot more often then Combat Arts, meaning STR ring will proc a lot more often the AGI ring.</p><p>One gives DPS mod, which increases the damage your auto-attack does, while the other one gives Haste mod, which increases the speed at which you swing your weapons.</p><p>In reality and from testing, the AGI ring doesn't proc often enough to make it be worth it.</p>

<p>I use both, and both seem to proc a lot.</p><p>Must check whether agi procs less; never knew that it should...</p>

<p>If you have no better rings and you don't care about resists, then use both.</p><p>If you only have room to equip one and you're raiding, then use STR.  It will proc very often...usually once or twice or three times per fight depending on the length.  Just make sure you're within auto-attack range <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p> If you're solo'ing, and you have no other haste mods (ie, AGI line, Amulet, Gauntlets, etc) , then using AGI isn't a bad idea...but at that point I'd use both anyways. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
