My fury is 30, and ive been doing RoV today. Im starting to notice that i need to keep both of my HoT's up on most harder pulls, to avoid having to play catch up spam with my heals. Is it a given that i should automatically cast my single target and my group HoT right away or should i use my single target and spam my single heals? What is more mana efficient? This is all assuming of course that the MT is the only one taking damage. My heals are all masters or a3's. Thanks.

The Single target hot is the most mana efficient heal you would have at that level. Your group HoT isnt as mana efficient as your direct heals for healing 1 target though.

Single target heals are definitely more power efficient. If you are with a tank that is holding aggro and the only one taking damage then don't bother using group heals.

Groups heals are far more handy to be used when another group member get's a little nuke-happy and steals aggro. Great to use if you still want to target the tank, just throw out a few group heals until the tank has aggro again, then switch back to single target heals.

Just a guideline to the OP on how he can tell if his heals are efficient. My 58 fury usually joins pick up groups with three to five other classes, one of them a plate MT. Tackling white and yellow ^^^ heroics. So standard group fun, nothing too difficult. If the tank is moderately kitted out and using defensive stance, I can keep his health bar in the green just using my single-target HoT. Simply wait until it is one second away from expiring, then cast it again. Rinse and repeat. My HoT is Adept III or Master II. If the tank switches to offensive stance (which I often ask them to do), or we tackle a tough named, or we get adds, I still keep my single target HoT up, but have to cast an insta-heal (or back into the fray) every so often too. If the tank is an avoidance tank such as a monk or a bruiser, then they gotta be in either defensive or mixed stance. Otherwise it is *very* hard work for me to keep them alive against this level of mob. In this situation, I use the same healing tactics, but find I have to use my emergency heals more often. If we get adds then quite often we die, if I am the only healer. I play both a zerker (46) and bruiser (70) too, and find that other healers generally do the same to those toons. As I said, not gospel, but at least a guideline as to how efficient your healing *can* be. Brag

Use Feast too, on every battle. It helps a lot.
