Warden/Pally & Wiz Duo?

Wife and I are coming back to EQ2 and she has already started her Wizard....I am looking to play something that we can duo together as we level up.  I have done some searches and I see alot of Paladin and Warden (we are going Fae).  So I know the Paladin will work ok it seems, how about Warden is it more complicated?
