I just rolled a Fury and freaking love him. I deleted my pally cause he sucks. My question is how should I start spending my AA points for like the first 10 points after 10 when it becomes available.

Like I said I love this class and finally found one I so want to spend the time on to get him to LVL 70 and everything else.

IF anyone has any other advice for me I would so love to hear it. Thanks to everyone who replies and happy adventuring.

Well to be honest I have a lot of toons and love my fury also. I just hit 52 on mine and the worst part about a fury is it's AAs. In short.... they suck. they dont make or break the class like my conjurer's AA's do (example). I dont find them very definined for a druid and I really feel they got the short end of the short stick.

As many will reply it's based on your play style. Keep in mind you can always respec later so get creative and choose whats best for you.

One "must have" for the druid has is speed! Invest in the Speed AA's!!! Pact of the Cheetah also when you get a few levels and can use it. I hate playing my other toons now cause fury speed is second to none in EQ2 and very addictive.

To the readers....

Mounts? Who needs em!!! Roll a fury and you too will be hooked!

Wow... i cant believe u said that poster 2.. Furys have alot to gain from our aa lines.. one of the only aa line i might not go is the one u said. .. increase in speed..... wow i can run fast.. reminds me of robinhood and men in tights.

OP i suggest u go the wis line first. . Just so u will have power. when u get enuf aa then u can respec.

well i wrote a nice description of our aa lines and the benifit. . but this forum said it was a duplicate post and erased what i wrote.. and well i dont have energy to put it all in... ( need real like animal form for power regen, and str line for auto heals)

So .. basical most our aa lines rock.. and become hard to deside what to pick. . we are def better off than a apally aa lines thats for sure... if u solo a good amount and are not 70 yet i sugest going for animal charm and increase first. . its hard ot find an animal but it realy does make life easier on u.

Animal form aa line just rocks. vortex aa line is great int line is great for damage crits sta lien great for heals crits and the debuff aa str line goes great with the animal form aa. . but is kinda solo dps

and well the debuffs increases are great for raids and the hibernation aa.

Just rember u can respec.. so do it.. work ur aa in stages of your game play... you dont want go out and spec ur self with more int than wis in the begining. . u dont even get all ur damge spells untill ur 65ish. so be a healer first...

Second poster has me /boggle. First of all fury aa rock, second of all you can get all the speed you want from a horse or even the free carpet so skip those AA altogether

I agree that the fury aas rock. The dps increase for aas is just awesome. We are short in aas that increase our healing potential compared to some other priests but I don't think we got gimped in anyway what so ever.

On a note about the speed increase... I wouldn't take the 10% speed increase in the druid wis tree but I can't think of any good reason to not take the 40% increase in the fury animalism tree. Also the carpet/horse are out of combat speed and the fury increases are in-combat. Play with all different combos of aa you want but I would always take 40% in-combat run speed in any set up.

Fury AA line is both in and out of combat. PvP server this is a must.

OP: If you solo or fight in small groups where you will need to put out some DPS you might want to consider this. Skip the Druid tree and go directly to the Fury line at first. Get some points in to the first 3 in the Energy Vortex line and then in to the Animalism line just enough to get the +35 Run Speed & Safefall. After you get those you will be able to survive more fights, either by beating hem or by running away. After those I'd switch and go down one of the Druid lines. Here is what I did. Enegery Vortex tree as far as my level would give a benefit Enhanced Brambles and Enhanced Cheeta @ 3 each Animal Form tree enough to get the +35% run buff Finished the Energy Vortex line Went down the Int Line Finished the Animal Form tree Next is the Stamina line for the resistance to Stun an the Crit Heal %

Fury AA line sucks...hahahhaa that must be a joke. If you know what your looking for, and can see forward, and use the brain, you can set yourself up quite nicely with the aa tree. I agree with one of the posters, if your not a raider then do up the Fury AA line first and do what he recommended. If your a fury raider, then I would recommend that u pick and choose, what your guild wants. For example I went straight down the AGI line to get my AOE blocker as limited as it is, it works and off tanks love it. I also went down Int line the first 4, and the wis line the first 3. For the Fury aa line I went down the first to lines, from the left to get my incombat speeds and heal boosters, and grp savers for raiding.

I just read up to post two, gonna ignore that lol. Furys are awesome(I have two of them @ 70 juse in case one is locked out of something). For me personally I went down the reduced casting times/energy vortex line, maxed out damage and healing crits, maxed out disruption, and also spent all 5 point in pact of cheetah for 100% run speed. With this combo not only can I solo heal but I can dps like crazy. When people see a priest doing 2k-3k ext dps on grps I love to watch mouths drop. This way if there are two healers or one good one I can dps like crazy.

My other fury went more down healing and only does 600-1k damage..with my new fae fury dps aa choices, he does 2k-3k. So our AAs make a big difference...they are awesome.
