I recently came back to eq2 after quitting about 2 years ago 2 or 3 months after release and I am looking at rolling an Inquisitor as my main however in terms of home cities I greatly prefer Qeynos over freeport so my question was if I were to roll something like a Dark Elf Inquisitor would I be able to betray over to qeynos or only if it was a class that was not side specific?

Betray as an Inquisitor, and you become a Templar. No way around it. If you really want to reside in Qeynos, just make a Templar. I've seen one do over 1900 dps on a single mob epic target in Freethinkers Hideout (without using a miricle), so it is not like they are short on DPS, and Templars have a lot more healing options than Inquisitors. They also have the real sweet group wide 25% proc increase for worn items and armor, which owns, and I am not sure why Inquisitors did not get that one too. Enhanced act of faith does not even remotely compare.

You can go exile and work your qeynos faction up high enough and be able to go through qeynos without problem. Only problem with that is some quests will not like you while exile (claymore) and going non-exile requires spell loss.
