I'm noticing that this debuff doesn't proc nearly as much as it says it should. It shows at proccing 7.4 times per minute and the best I've ever seen it do is 2 times per minute, but usually just one. I use ACT as my guide for this information. I've got 5 points into making it proc more and if it's only proccing 2 times per minute with 5 points I might be better off investing my points elsewhere. To me it seems broken. Anyone have any feedback on this?

Go on a raid with an AOE and come back with your findings. :p

I never said the spell isn't useful. I'm questioning the improvement of it via the Templar AA tree. Perhaps the 7.4 is calculated against a person with 0 avoidance and since the main tank of a raid will have high avoidance the trigger chance is more like 1 to 2 depending on the tank. What I'm looking for is anyone who may have the info of the actual (not what it displays) triggers per minute, with and without 5 points into it.

I guess one important question might be, are you the only templar on the raid? If not the two of you might be overwriting debuffs and having neither proc as they should. I use ACT also and there have been pulls where more than 50% of my healing comes in the form of Involuntary Restoration and Mark.

Lotto heals are always better when they have more chance to proc, not sure of the exact nature of procs with 5 points as opposed to without the AAs spent... but I've never seen a problem with my heals.

also it depends on whether the mob is caster or melee. caster's tend to get interrupted and have less autoattacks.

Melee mobs like zerker's have so many swings that the number of chances to proc mean there will be that many more

Maybe it's not showing up in the parse every time because sometimes the tank is at 100% health and there's nothing to heal?

I was thinking of trying out some of the cures. ACT shows the trigger whether or not you are full. The healing would be 0 but the trigger counts. I've experimented some and I guess they just have some freaky equation. I have watched it on every fight for the past few days, raid, group, and solo and it seems it can proc anywhere from about 1 a minute to about 12 a minute. The highest procs are when I'm soloing since I have much lower avoidance. I've never seen a tank get up to the 7.4 a minute, but I haven't tried respeccing yet.

I usually finding it proc alot when I do use it when I'm the only templar around, usually if theres 2, then we would be overwriting each other's spells then.

Number crunching bores the hell out of me. However, I just recently started playing again after a brief hiatus, and I've noticed with Involuntary Restoration maxxed on the aa line, blessings active, and throwing IR and mark on, say, ashengaze basilisks in Bonemire my health almost NEVER drops below 100% from these two spells firing off.

More to the point on Involuntary Restoration, while duoing and keeping it on the mob, its just plain sick the amount of cures that are landing. pretty much as soon as a dot lands on the melee, it comes off. I'm VERY happy with this spell now, but I havent tried it in a raid venue lately so I have nothing to offer on that front.

Paddyo

Templar-Antonia Bayle
