Is EQ2 worth another try/look if having to start over from the ground up? Seems like alot of great changes but is it worth starting over with at level 1 with nothing? Just curious.

Unless you start at level 1, you'll miss a lot of the great changes. I don't see how starting with nothing is bad unless you're so materialistic that asking this question also serves as an answer...

I started a couple months ago and I'm having a blast. Buy the retail version of EoF (it comes with the initial game plus all other expansions if you get the box version not the download) even if you don't want to start a fae - the new zones are fantastic! Edit: Don't worry about me taking 2 months to level 30 - I've had experience turned off the whole time so I could quest more.

I've been playing since launch, but recently re-rolled a couple of my characters so I could start again. It's definitely worth it. They've removed a lot of the low-level quests that garnered a little coin and exp, but they've added a LOT of lowbie quests that actually get you worthwhile gear and items for your level.

The only way truley to find out if it's worth is to give it a go...but I think you'd be surprised at how much more has been added that being low level won't really matter....

My response is biased of course, but I would definately recommend EQ2 to anyone. In fact now is a great time to start with the addition of Echoes of Faydwer.

No. It's not worth it unless you can start at level 42.

Yes! A lot of the changes are in the lower levels. Even the newbie isles got changed! When the devs started revamping zones, they started with the newbie zones and worked up. With EoF you get those AAs at level 10 now. A good reason to restart or reroll.

I would say it worth it, and for me there is no good enough alternatives.

Heh yeah its worth trying. Eq2 is the best game out there in my eyes...even though it has less subscriptions then most games heh (what kind of people judge by subscriptions)

Worth it. Would be nearly flawless if several key issues were fixed. Oh and if the PVP server wasn't poorly executed.
