So I've been playing 7467045 toons since launch...I can't sit still, and I change toons like I change hats.

In any event, I am playing my very first conjurer and have actually enjoyed him quite a bit. Nifty class. Happy as heck.

So now I'm level 15, and I have 7 AA points sitting there. My question is aimed at high-level players who have "been there, done that"

Should I invest them in the conjurer tree first? Normally, I've always gone for the original trees on all my other toons, but the summoner AA's seem awful blah, and seem aimed at higher-level pets. I'm thinking I could spend some conjurer tree points and get quicker cast times, or whatnot. I'm truly at a loss. And it's not even a "just go with what you want" thing, because not one of them calls to me at all.

The key to my question is the fact I'm level 15. I'm not making a raiding choice, or even an end-game choice, and I can always re-spec. I'm curious to know what you think would me most useful for a person from level 15 to say level 40 to be spending their points on. My thought is to focus on the conjurer trees that affect my casting speeds and/or duration of DOT's, because my pet certainly doesn't seem to need any help, and it would make me a more lethal pet-owner....but I just don't know.

It's like, I keep staring at the trees thinking "----------". Lol.

edit: I guess what I'm really after, is which tree should I commit the points to while I am young and they are flowing cheap.

My take on this is that it really depends on your playstyle. I know, that is a common answer, but it is really the case here.

If you solo/duo a lot and depend on your pet to tank, you would be well advised to put points in the appropriate pet strengthening aa blocks. If you are always in a group or just prefer to assume you will be the majority of your time, then dps is maybe a better way to go for you.

I am very happy with my spec so far at level 38 (towards the top of your specified range). I have 5 points in Enhance Earth Pet and that's it so far in Conjuror tree. The rest are 4/4 in Stamina line (for Shockwave, which I find very useful) and 4/4/4/3 in Wisdom. I'm not done yet, obviously but my plan right now is to go 4/4/8/8 in Wisdom before I move on to flesh out some more in the Conjuror tree.

Keep in mind that I solo/duo mostly and depend on my pet to take and hold aggro against myself and my primary partner, a wizard. He does this pretty well, actually, although the wizard does need to not overnuke early. He can even hold aggro sufficiently for us to aoe reasonable well.

There are lots of good threads that discuss various aspects of spending conjuror aa points. I put my points where it seemed to make sense after reading a lot of those threads and I've been happy with the results so far.

It does really depend on how you play at that lvl...are you in groups all teh time? or are you solo alot? What i will say, is that you can never go wrong with faster cast timers/recasts, and even once you higher lvl you wont have to /respec because you should be keeping all those aa's anyways.
