I recently just dinged over the lvl 60 mark and I'm currently a 61 Warden. I know this must mean I'm ready for an armor upgrade however when I searched the broker I didn't really see anything worth while... any one have some suggestions on what armor and jewelry may be more befitting at the lvl?

Could they just make as simple as the guardians... colbalt, xegonite etc.... hee hee

At 62 you can wear the player made Dragonhide Armor which is decent. The better stuff is from drops or quest rewards. Also, our class armor is pretty good however you cannot wear it until lvl 67

I would advise that you save your money and look to really gearing up a little later in the 60's, like lvl 67. There is a a class armor set that is lvl 62 I think as well, can't remember the name though.

Grab the tailor made from the rare T7 pelt at 62 if you can afford them, and then hit as many EoF instances as you can for the Jale Philintoe Set Armor http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.h...l?eq2item=27068

Just spend some time in sos for starters doing the claymore line. As you progress in lvl you will move up to nest, den, poa, and hof and you have no need to buy anything. If you happen to harvest a rare leather, then pay to have someone make the rare leather you havent got a legendary for yet.

Keep in mind that a lot of wardens are going for the Melee CA line and keep an eye out for str/wis drops as rare as they are if you plan to do it yourself.

The only trouble with the JP armor set is that you have to be very careful what red shade you use for your hair. I'm back to platinum blonde!!!

Its aimed at nuking fury's or the rare highlevel warden that still does not melee. Even the set bonus is for casting instead of melee. SOE did not plan them very well when they put the CA AA's in for wardens(IMO). Of the pieces I transmuted so far, none of them had any str at all.

I went with the dragonhide until I started getting the relic armor from raids. It's not too bad. I'm one of the few wardens, I guess, that isn't melee. I might try it out with my other warden to see how I like it, but I'm very fond of my wis line. (I have 2 level 70 wardens, cause I wanted a fae, but I don't like other classes as much as I like wardens.)

I agree about the relic. I've seen some armor that seems much nicer in EoF, and some on the broker that I'm not sure of origin. My armor is mostly mismatched at this point. Relic is pretty easy to get, and not bad for the ease, though. I thought that about some of the armor I see labled for warden that looks like a fury would like it more. I'd like to see more healing crit gear, myself. Love to crit. =)
