turning off XP gain

<p>hello there!</p><p>first of many newbie questions from me this week <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>when I tried this the other day I didn't get any loot form mobs I killed - I would like to farm grimroot/vuulth in the starter zone for adept I's, but I get XP too quickly - if I kill them with XP gain turned off will they still drop a chest?</p><p>(editted for crummy spelling)</p>

IF you wish to Farm Mobs you have to turn your XP off BEFOR they turn gray and do nothing that will earn you XP, such as vist places you have never been befor, turning in quests, and such.

You were probably just unlucky the other day if you didn't get anything.
